Vasilios in Madison, MS is a must-try! The chicken gyro was fresh and flavorful, the fries were crispy and golden, and the service was warm and welcoming. Easily one of the best spots in town

Waited almost 45 minutes for my lunch, which was a Greek salad with gyro lamb. The restaurant wasn’t full, but it was busy enough to keep the two servers (who were both very kind and as attentive as they could be) constantly moving. Hard to judge the quality of the entire menu on my meal, but there was absolutely nothing special about the salad or the lamb on top (which was actually a bit dry). Creamy feta sauce had a gelatinous consistency and (very unfortunately) tasted like mayonnaise. Nothing exciting about the food, decor or dining experience. I know this place has been around forever and they have somewhat of a loyal following, so I’m they are/ have been doing something right… perhaps I just caught them on the wrong day.

My first time here and I really enjoyed it. We started with the meatball appetizer that came with feta sauce and they were great. I got the Thalassino which was different types of seafood on top of rice with a white wine sauce, and it came with a salad. The food Thalassino was great and I loved the salad, I’m a big fan of feta sauce. It was pretty affordable and the service was great!

The food is good but overpriced, when you get the same for lunch and pay twice as much for the same amount for dinner, it’s a fact of over pricing. If your not concerned about cost. It’s a great place either way. It’s always packed.

A group of 29 of us decended on this restaurant at 5:00 last night, 1/18/25. 2 employees took care of our group with finesse and ease. Food was fantastic ( I had the redfish). Our servers were magnificent…not one order was incorrect. Gyros, fish, salads, sandwiches are on the menu. Go check them out!

The meal was average at best, the fish was not good at all, thin as paper. could go on but the kicker was the people preparing the food. They were using bare hands. The kitchen was a total wreck, it needed a total cleaning. Will never return!!!!
