I ate a whole pie and have zero regrets. Am I lactose intolerant- absolutely. But I couldn’t help it. It was too good and I just kept going.
The crust was what makes a pizza and they absolutely nailed it. Perfect thickness, perfect char, and it wasn’t soggy, as some pizza crusts of this style can get.
I was told that the folks working this place have been doing it for ages. The colleague I went with has been 18 times in the last 3 years – and he’s from Canada.
Make it happen. It’s worth the trip for sure.
So many restaurants make eggplant deep-fried, or add so many breadcrumbs that you don’t really taste the eggplant. But here, the eggplant is grilled with very few breadcrumbs and boy is it ever delicious I really know I’m eating eggplant and I love every single bite. The owner‘s name is Gino and he’s super friendly. A must for any lover of eggplant on a tripto Atlanta.
I’ve since gone back and added the pizza I got recently!
It would be awesome if they made a gluten free crust. Please work on that !
Margherita Pizza: Flavor is great, thin and crust tastes great. However, I’d wish to have more mozzarella cheese on top
Arancini is small and standard in flavor, nothing stood out in particular
Varuni Salad: The dressing is amazing. A
smoky flavor, would definitely get the salad again
Tiramisu is very authentic to Italian flavor. Not too sweet, and very soft and creamy
