We went for breakfast buffet. The food is so awesome and tasty. Every chutney, every dish tasted great. Really felt food tasted like in India. Poori with curry is ultimate. Mysore bajji cooked very perfect. Idly is so soft and melted in mouth. Sambar is next level. Pongal has lot of ghee and melted in mouth. Upma is also good. Vada is crispy and great with sambar. Food is very fresh and restaurent is clean. Service is very good. We are planning to come again and again.

Been coming here for about 6 months (2-3 times a week) and really enjoy the food. Quality is always excellent and pricing is lower than nearby restaurants. They have well made home style curries which vary everyday. The veg biryani and paneer biryani is spicy but really good ( order mild unless you really take heat well). They have a great veg korma and Karahi. I love their dosa ( best sambar in DFW) and evening snacks ( samosa Bhaji etc)
Dishes which are decent but not to my taste ( few of my friends like it) include paneer butter ( too rich for me) , Chinese appetizers ( too oily/spicy for me). They do make everything fresh so you have a 10-15 min wait time on most things which is reasonable. Really recommend this place for their food.

Love their new combos. Makes deciding what to eat so much easier.

8/2024: The Pulav is . I highly recommend the owner to change the open sign for one that’s brighter. Every time I drive by in the morning and afternoon it looks as it’s closed.

6/16/24: I’ve returned multiple times and the quality and taste remains consistent. They have expanded their snacks/chaat offerings.

Their mutton and veggies dishes are my they also have one of the best prices in the area.

Well balanced flavors with layered spices. The meat. The chicken biryani was super tender and seasoned well. Their forte is in the veg dishes. Everything was fresh tasting.

Varahi Indian kitchen was just opened in March 2024 as a restaurant serving Indian food crafted from generations of taste.
The people are warm and welcoming and the food was exceptionally good and tasty. The decor is clean and this restaurant is geared towards food pick up but does offers dine in for folks who would love to grab a quick bite or dinner
I tasted the vegetable puff, special samosa chat, Omania biscuit, Gobi Manchurian, paneer dosa, ghee podi dosa, special and basundhi!
I loved the paneer tikka masala so much that I got an additional box to take home.
They have live chat, live dosa and party catering too. They make the jangri and Jalebis fresh and tastes yummy. I love their fresh snacks , variety in the menu and their paneer dishes.
You need to definitely check this place out!

Family pack chicken boneless briyani original price is 50$
Quantity – quantity is very good and good amount of chicken as well
Taste – briyani overall tastes good. Not spicy and good mix of gravy and rice. Food feels fresh as well which is a huge plus.
Value for money – for a family pack, we do not get a starter and desert for 50$ which is a deal breaker. We can buy 3 chicken briyani for the same price and gotten more quantity and choices. For this reason I do not recommend buying family packs here. But otherwise food and service is good.

Edit in review – I had a portion of briyani next day morning and for the first time in all the DFW Indian restaurants, food and chicken tasted good next day which shows the briyani they serve is genuinely fresh which is a huge plus !!!

I am so happy to find this jewel! I have tried multiple Indian restaurants in DFW. This is one of my top 2! I tried the Masala dosa here and it was the closest I’ve had to what I ate in India! That along with the coconut chutney brought back so many good memories of my time in India. We also had Chicken Tikka Masala and it was excellent for my kids and the grown-ups as well!
