I came here for some good food while I was in varadero and was satisfied with the porkchop with the sultana sauce. The sultana sauce is sweet and compliments the porkchop perfectly. Will definitely come back here next time I’m in varadero.

We had a perfect evening at this restaurant. I highly recommend the octopus carpaccio as a starter – absolutely delicious. The shrimp in tomato sauce were excellent, and we enjoyed amazing lobsters served with fries. Everything was truly tasty, right down to the coffee and dessert – wow! Thank you for everything. And the live music was the cherry on top!

The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the food selection on the menu to the amazing selection on the wine list this place deserves a 5 star. Here is the problem… The band selection of accordéon and electric guitar is like a clash to the ear drums. Picture Van Hallen on guitar with a fuzz and la vie en rose on the accordéon… it’s like mapple syrup on sardines… second: to allow cigar smoking inside the restaurant while people enjoy a dinner, Not a good thing!
We had 6 tourists smoking cigars while we where trying to eat. This place would be Amazing! If they would adjust the band and make it no smoking inside. The prices for the quality of food and service is excellent!

It was a very pleasant experience and a much needed break from resort food. I had a Swordfish loin that was delicious and very filling. My wife had the Shrimp in tomatoe sauce and loved it. The staff are very professional and friendly. Everyone smiling. We will return. I rarely give 5 star reviews but they deserve it. Cheers!

This place saved our vacation. If you’re in need of food that feels like home then this is for you! The location is nice and quiet, they have some great rock and roll live music playing & the decor is very hip. We are here three times during our stay as we weren’t having a great experience at our hotel. The first night we got 2 skirt steaks with mashed potatoes gravy & various garnishes, four (real) Pepsi’s and stuff peppers with lobster as well as a dessert it cost 150$ Canadian. The second time two orders of fettuccine alfredo, four drinks, and two desserts for about 105$ Canadian. The third night, two apps, one steak/ potatoes, and surf and turf dinner as well as four drinks for 140$ Canadian. We felt the prices were great. Our food was fantastic, fresh and hot. If I ever come to Cuba again it’s a must stop.

Upon arrival, despite our reservation, we were kept waiting 20 minutes. This gave us an uneasy feeling from the very start. The seating arrangement is very friendly and the live band on Saturday evening makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is exceptionally good however the prices are astonishing considering the national average income. We paid $US138 and $20 each way for a taxi, for a couple and we only had small starters and surf and turf with 2 beers and water. Wonderful food but unacceptable prices. Like everywhere on the island tourists get ripped off, this is no exception. They have a menu online with prices but give you a menu in restaurant with Cuban peso prices which are much higher.

We were nearly starving at our all-inclusive resort, so we set out to find a good restaurant—and we did! The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively. Our trip to Cuba was even more special because we were able to reunite with our family after not seeing them for a long time. If you’re in Varadero, this restaurant is a must-visit. Truly impressive and highly recommended!

Varadero 60 exceeded our expectations! Wonderful meal, great staff and such a nice place.
The lobster dinner was a steal! Best meal we had this trip and will for sure be back next time we are in Varadero!!

We loved Varadero 60, so much so we went back for a 2nd night. Great atmosphere, staff are friendly and attentive. Service was fast. Great decor and ice cold beer. We loved the live music they had and it was very fun. Food was amazing and also very reasonably priced. You can pay in USD or CDN no worries.
