As a New Yorker, I was honestly shocked not to see a Dunkin’ Donuts or a nearby Starbucks in sight—but discovering Vantage Coffee Roaster was such a pleasant surprise! This hidden gem is super trendy, welcoming, and best of all—fur baby friendly. The staff was incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. The vibe was great, and the coffee didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend checking it out. I’ll absolutely be going back!

My friends and I have been going to Vantage since they first opened. At first we didn’t really have any problems. Since we go there often, the workers were usually very friendly with us. The past few times we have come in recently however, there has been new workers and they have given us attitudes for absolutely no reason. (The workers were also watching us and talking to each other. When we were literally sitting there doing nothing. We’re not loud and we definitely don’t make messes.) My friends and I haven’t done anything wrong. So, we’re not sure why we are being treated that way. I liked Vantage overall because their drinks were good (although they are quite over priced) and usually the atmosphere in there was very nice. It no longer feels that way though. Maybe this is just a personal experience for my friends and I but we still won’t be going back anytime soon.

My favorite coffee shop. My daughter got me hooked on the iced mocha and nothing else can compare. Vantage makes the best. Service is always fast and friendly. I love being able to order ahead on the app and have it ready when I walk in. Food is great, too. Their roasted red pepper soup is my favorite soup, ever. Try it with a grilled cheese, trust me. A great place to meet friends and visit a while.

There needs to be a 6 star rating available for Vintage Roasters. I happen to be traveling home to Michigan and found this great shop. The cappuccino was perfect and the roast is smooth. It was worth the 5 minutes extra to stop in town. They even handed me my capp and not just set it on the counter. The apple scone paired perfect as well.

Vantage is a great sister location to Higher Ground. Laid back feel, I always enjoy meeting up with friends to talk and enjoy a good pour over coffee or espresso drink. So glad we have a great local roaster for awesome coffee!

We were in union city for the weekend and always make a point to try new coffee shops when we visit different towns. This is one of our favs so far!! Loved the chai and açaí bowl!

If you’re not from the area, Vantage Coffee Roasters is a sister location to Union City’s other coffee shop, High Ground.
They also have a similar location in Martin, TN, about 20 minutes away.
Since I live in Union City and work in Martin, both locations are my preferred places to get coffee. They have the types of coffee you’d expect, but they also offer specialty flavored coffees each month.
And, if you’ve never tried Poursteady coffee, try their Kalita Wave.
I love that they offer the option to order online. It’s super convenient to walk in and pick up your waiting coffee.
I’ve always had exceptional service and friendly encounters with everyone who works there.
If you’re shopping downtown, it’s a great place to grab something to eat or drink.
Since Higher Ground tends to get crowded because of its location on Reelfoot Avenue, I’ve made the transition to Vantage. Not only is the coffee great, but I can get in and out quickly.
Highly recommended for out-of-town visitors looking for a great local coffee shop or locals who need their daily dose of caffeine.
