A Remarkable Recovery & Exceptional Experience

I am updating my previous review following a truly outstanding experience. After a miscommunication during the initial booking process, the management personally reached out to apologize and kindly invited us to dine.

From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The team, especially Richmond, demonstrated a top-tier service attitude. They took genuine care to understand our preferences before expertly recommending dishes that suited us perfectly.

The food itself was superb—the steak was cooked to perfection and the prawn bisque was absolutely divine. Every dish was worth every penny, highlighting the kitchen’s serious commitment to quality.

Every detail was attended to with utmost respect – from the seamless service and thoughtful food presentation to even noticing and adjusting the room temperature for comfort. It is clear that Vantador is deeply serious about the F&B business and values every customer’s experience, going above and beyond to make things right.

What could have been a negative impression was transformed into a memorable dining experience thanks to their professional and gracious response. Full credit to the entire crew, particularly Richmond, for their customer excellence. I sincerely rate them 5 stars and highly recommend giving them a visit.

Vantador KL delivers a serious steak experience. The tomahawk was impressive – generously sized, beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender within, and seasoned just right to let the beef shine. Cooked exactly as requested, every bite felt indulgent without being overwhelming.

Service: Attentive, knowledgeable, and well-paced, the team checked in at the right moments and handled everything smoothly, making the meal feel relaxed yet refined. A solid choice for a celebratory dinner or when you’re craving a properly done steak in KL.

Had an amazing dinner at Vantador. The food was outstanding as the steak was cooked to perfection, rich, flavourful, and clearly top-tier quality. You can really taste the craftsmanship and attention to detail in every bite.

Special shoutout to Chef Emir for an incredible job as the execution and flavours were spot on.

What truly elevated the experience was the service. The team was attentive, knowledgeable, and warm throughout the night. Everything felt well-paced and intentional, which made the evening incredibly enjoyable.

We went to Vantador in Kuala Lumpur after reading so many good reviews and hearing about its great reputation. The place looks elegant and lively, and the staff were very nice and tentative.

We decided to order the Spanish Ox steak because the waiter said it was one of their best and the menu description made it sound amazing. It was really expensive, almost twice the price of a Tomahawk or Porterhouse, so we thought it must be special. But honestly, it was quite tough and not what we expected. Its over pice for that kind of meat! We could eat a very nice Tomahawk with less!

The presentation was great though, and the cocktails were beautiful. We really enjoyed the cocktails though, it was really well presentation and the appetizers were all delicious. I think the drinks and appetizers are worth the visit, but not that steak. If I ever come back, I’ll probably try another cut but definitely not that one.

Order two steaks. Dry aged Spanish steak and Wet aged wagyu. Very nice foods but I will definitely says not the best of the best maybe because we walk-in. Service is top-notch, there are 3 waiter serving you to all way through you can expect the best service here. If you just want the best experience while eating steak and doesn’t care about spending , this is the place. It costs us 3 men RM2000+ this meal. Honorable mention, the mixed mushrooms side dish is a must. So good.
