Celebrating 25 years with old fashioned burgers, add ons like grilled onions, bacon and fried egg, Pepsi products including Diet Dr Pepper crinkle cut fries, breaded onion rings, housemade fry sauce, tartar sauce and ranch. Shakes include chocolate, vanilla, root beer or orange creamsicle. We are a small drive thru and lines sometimes get long so the best way to make sure you don’t cut the line is to turn to the left upon arrival and find the end of the line that way. We are not the place to come when you are in a hurry or hungry for something that’s not on our menu. We look forward to serving you fresh, hot, made to order burgers and burger accessories. Closed daily from 2-4 for breaks and restocking.

got in and out in 20 minutes. The girls were very nice even with a line around the building. Ill be back for sure. This summer, unless I get a hankering tomorrow after work.
The crinkle fries were a slight disappointment; I expected crispy & hot, but they were cold & almost stale.
But, they’re way better than most fast food joints here (psssst, Dick’s).
The location invites interest. In the middle of nowhere, with what looks like a playground ride in the shape of a large burger.
Hours are different, open for lunch (less busy) & dinner some days, but not others. Mostly closed — until it’s not.
Kiddo wanted to try it out.
Said it was “an experience”, wouldn’t go again. Small amount of fries for 4 bucks, but said the crinkle cut was good and he could’ve bought a 2 lb. Bag for that price and amount. Super thin burger patty in a huge bread bun. Nothing fancy. Service was mediocre and not friendly, but not unfriendly either.
Not much for atmosphere, it’s right off the road.
Note to owner: refrain from going through your receipts for the day and posting customers personal information for the public.

I really encourage Van’s to spend some time and serve either homemade fries, onion rings. That would really make them stand out. In the meantime, skip the sides, the expensive dipping sauces (should get one free for an order of fries or onion rings, not pay extra) and drinks that are mostly ice. Order just the burgers and bring your own drinks like we do. See pic of cooler on picnic table.
Review from sept 2024: Having been spoiled by places like In-n’-Out burger all over the west, Burger Landing in Port Hadlock and the now-closed down Norma’s Burgers Lacey, we’re quite discerning when it comes to a quality burger. Been wanting to try Van’s for a long time but hadn’t had the chance. They have limited seasonal hours primarily restricted to the summertime. Finally got a chance today. First of all, expect to be in line of cars for a while but apparently that’s to be expected according to others who have reviewed this place. It’s wasn’t too long as I thought it might be thankfully, about 20 minutes from start to finish.
I ordered a Big Pete while my GF got the cheeseburger w/bacon. Also ordered a Fry and a drink. Price not too bad coming in just under $30. You order at the first hut and then drive to pick up your food at the second hut. Staff was friendly enough. We then got our food and parked over by the obvious former McDonald’s Big Mac character and sat down on the picnic table. There are many to choose from and each has a parking spot.
As for the burgers, they were actually quite good despite our experience so far and that’s their saving grace. nicely cooked ¼” burger patties which is the perfect size of a patty by the way. Fresh toppings and they toast the buns which is absolutely critical. Nice job Van’s on the burgers. The fries, well, they are crinkle fries and nothing special. Like to see instead an option for steak or wedge fries. Or better yet, fresh-cut bowling alley style fries to make this place REALLY stand out. I’d pay extra for that. Dipping sauces were ‘meh’. I’d recommend sticking with just the free ketchup. Also don’t bother getting a drink. No refills and over-priced. Recommend going over to the nearby Chevron station and get a 16 oz soda for a $1.50 less or just bring your own which is what we do. So all in all, decent food.
Now, let’s talk about the wonderful ladies who put together the experience. I have enjoyed my interactions, conversations and giggles because I know, from when I order to when I leave the lot, that my family’s meal come from great and loving hands.
