What a delicious find in Warwick RI. This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. The food was prepared with care and the staff made sure we felt welcomed. The restaurant is quaint and beautiful. If you are planning to host a celebration with a small group of people this is the place to go to. Please make reservations because everyone who knows about Vanda’s always returns and you may have to wait. The food and service is worth it. Definitely planning to add this restaurant to go to place when I have friends and families visiting in Rhode Island. Thank you.

This was such a great dining experience for me and my wife. We have been dying for some Cacio e Pepe since we’ve been back from Italy and we happened to stumble upon a place that had it. We were only in town for 2 days for my wife’s work training so it was very fulfilling. Kao was a phenomenal server, offering great recommendations, lots of personality, and overall just a pleasant guy. We really enjoyed our evening and we will certainly be back if we are ever back in the area. Highly recommend! (Although the Cacio e Pepe could use a lesser dose of pepper haha)

Stopped by before a wedding as my bf and I were in the area and needed a quick bite. We wish we could have skipped the wedding and tried everything on the menu. This place was phenomenal from the few items we got to try; the focaccia, the dusk fusili, and the meatballs were perfect. We had to take two desserts togo and I not exaggerating when I say I just ate the Butterscotch Budino dessert (2 days old as I was traveling) and it was quite possibly the best dessert, if not food I have ever had. If i could drive there right now and get a vat of it I would.
All in all 1000/10 you must stop by if you are in the area.

We love love love vanda! Small intimate atmosphere. The food is beyond amazing! Everything was fresh, from the meat and cheese board to our entrees! The waitress that we had was amazing! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary here on Sunday August 10th. We will definitely be returning!

I’ve visited Vanda a handful of times and always have had a great experience. The quality and the care around the dishes is felt and tasted throughout. The pasta plates always pack a lot of flavor! The food comes out in a reasonable amount of time and reservations are easy to make! Just make sure you book in advance. I really love how small and quaint the restaurant is, makes it feel very at home. Parking is limited but within reason for the occupancy of the restaurant. The tables are clean and the drinks are yummy. It does cost a pretty penny.
Get the pastas, get the focaccia, get the calamari, get the desert, (budino) can’t recommend them enough. We tried the specials from time to time, and they always offered freshness and flavor.
Vanda, if you are reading this, Please bring back the seafood pasta with crab!! That is my favorite!
There is also a waiter, a young man with dark longish hair that is great! His service was timely and was very educated on each dish and offerings! Give this man a raise!

On my last day in RI, my friend took me to her favorite spot… and it delivered! Order the foccacia bread. STAT! I wanted 5 to go, but I settled for a half. It’s truly the BEST I’ve ever tasted. It was that memorable. Don’t sleep on this place because what seems like a sweet little restaurant is really a powerhouse, serving Italian food like the country.

First off, great service. The food timing was perfect, attention to detail, humor and banter, just everything our server did elevated the experience and made us comfortable.
And the food backs it up. I had Veal Milanese which was bright and balanced. The olive oil cake and mascarpone cheesecakes were equally delightful.
The restaurant itself is very small, cozy, and feels new, but wasn’t a major positive or negative.

What an excellent dining experience. My sister recommended Vanda and it was a complete treat – excellent cocktails (not too sweet!), the focaccia and eggplant app were outstanding, and the mains were so delicious! We had in our group shrimp special, the salmon and pork chop and all enjoyed very much. I had the chicken with fra diavalo tomatoe sauce and pesto parm risotto ❤️❤️❤️ … soooo good! Thank you!! Save room for the butterscotch pudding – it’s quite simply a must!
