A friend and I went around dinner time as it wasn’t busy. No wait for a table. It’s cute and quaint inside. Decaf latte was fabulous. I had a soda and the fizz was perfect not too syrupy. I am not a Mac and cheese fan but I am a sucker for pesto. The Chicken Pesto Mac and Cheese was delicious. It had mushrooms and broccoli as well. Not a fan of cooked mushrooms due to the texture but I ate a few since they were included and they really weren’t that bad to me. The Peace fries were a different kind of taste for me but still very good. A ketchupy kind of curry flavor. The waiter was very pleasant and threw me off when he offered a straw and asked if I wanted my favorite color. It’s small but it made me smile. The forks are pretty big, and I have little hands. Tad uncomfortable but not world ending by any means

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this place. firstly, the space is bright and sunny and nearly immaculate. tons of decorations and no dust anywhere. the food was incredible, every bite was perfect. the portions are generous and they had a wonderful espresso bar/ tea menu, as well as local kombucha on tap. our server was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. visiting van gogh made our trip to springfield even more memorable and we will definitely return! p.s. the food was so good we forgot to take pictures.

I love the atmosphere and possibilities to spent dinner without screens. Food was good, but not our taste most of what we tried. Appetiser mushrooms were delicious but too hot, and soup was well. Waffle with caramel was good also. The service was incredible!

My friend and I came here for lunch, and sat out on the patio. The food was fantastic and the service was great. They have a very extensive menu and also an impressive number of options for vegans or those with alpha-gal. I will definitely be back more regularly!

I have been here several times now, and love it! Everything I have tried has been absolutely delicious. Pictured is the Sunflower Pannenkoeken, the Lekker Mac & Cheese (I added goat cheese to mine), and the Almond Joy Latte (I got mine iced). I have also had the Red Light Madame sandwich (not pictured) and it was tasty, as well. I also tried bites of my husband’s food, he has gotten several of the Stamppots, and they were divine. The Almond Joy Latte was fantastic! Sometimes coffee says it’s flavored a certain way, but you can’t really tell. With this latte, it tastes EXACTLY like an Almond Joy, I was pleasantly surprised! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. I do agree with another reviewer in that none of the food has been piping hot, but it hasn’t been cold, either, so this doesn’t bother me. I would highly recommend this place, you can’t go wrong!

Found this passing through, and we are absolutely delighted. Arrived at 7:30PM on a Saturday–no wait. The service was prompt and very helpful. I’ve visited the Netherlands a few times, and this place has more authentic Dutch food than any place I’ve found in Amsterdam!
The snert (meaty pea soup) immediately sent me across the ocean with perfect flavors and a heartiness to warm you on a cold night. The braised beef hutspot stampotten was fall apart tender and very filling (sweet potatoes were a nice touch). And our third dish, a savory crepe with shrimp, salmon, and herring in a cream sauce stole the show.
I’d say it’s worth visiting Springfield just to eat here. It’s an amazing piece of Holland in the Midwest. Yum!

We happened to see an old menu on line that had a shareable platter that was no longer available. However, the waiter was very good in helping us selecting most of the items that we were interested in trying without it being too much food. Loved every bit of our experience ❤️
