Vampire Penguin Snow, starts with an ice-cream like frozen treat, made with non-dairy cream, sugar, fruit, and fruit concentrate, that’s frozen in cylindrical molds; the resulting snow blocks are then placed in a special machine that shaves them into tiny ribbons, creating a dessert that’s richer than ice cream and richer than standard shaved ice. We’ve visited Vampire Penguin multiple times and enjoy it every single time! It’s become one of our favorite dessert spots. I usually order the halo-halo, which is always a treat, but today they were out of taro ice cream, so I opted for Thai tea instead. While it wasn’t quite the same, it was still absolutely delicious!
What really sets Vampire Penguin apart is the unique, fluffy texture of their shaved ice (cream) it’s light, creamy, and unlike anything else. The presentation is beautiful and feels like something you’d see at a five-star restaurant.
Service is consistently quick and genuinely friendly, which only adds to the great experience. We love it here and will definitely keep coming back!

Cute eclectic shop with a variety of tasty treats (and apparently now a cook-your-own ramen bar). This was our first time here, and we enjoyed trying the delightfully fluffy ice. When we came, it was not busy, so we placed and received our order very quickly (they brought it out to the table for us).

This was a new experience for the whole family! It is not shaved ice it’s more like shaved snow I think is the way it was described. Regardless it was an absolutely amazing experience from the staff to the very yummy desserts to the board games available. I have a feeling you’re going to be back very soon.

Whoa! Also a ramen bar! Best ramen I’ve ever had! I had spicy onegiri with garlic, mussel, and clam. About a dozen varied types of imported quality ramen! Toppings too. $6. And you can have their dessert or boba/milk tea with it! I had taro milk tea and orange boba. Real good. Very accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. First floor. Not noisy. Cute atmosphere.

Reminiscent of Hawaii’s shaved ice. Light and refreshing. Nice presentation. Perfect dessert if you don’t want anything too heavy or too sweet. The Halo halo was the best. We also got the dulce de leche and Mexican candy. Cute atmosphere, kid friendly.

We stopped by tonight for the first time, and it was amazing! The ice is so fine and smooth! We tried 4 different flavors, all of which were delicious. The Polar Affrogato was my favorite it’s a coffee with chocolate. You can’t go wrong. The flavors were super well balanced! The Strawberry Shortcake and PBC were both tied for second place. The strawberry shortcake had fresh strawberries, which was a nice touch and tasted like a classic strawberry shortcake. The PBC tasted just like a reeses peanut butter cup and is very rich. Our least favorite was the smoreo’s, although it was tasty it didn’t taste anything like a smores which we had expected. I felt like this one would have been better if it had liquid marshmallow as well. The gentleman who served us was very nice and answered our questions, no problem. He even told my kids the back story to how the penguin became a vampire, which they thought was so cool to hear! They were not very busy when went in, which was great since we had never been there before and we didn’t feel rushed to make a decision on which flavors. There’s plenty of seating and games to play like uno! The tables and chairs were very clean and not sticky like a lot of ice cream/ dessert places. The only issue is they don’t have a kids size, so either you share with your kids or a toddler gets a small, which is pretty big! Overall, this was a great experience with friendly staff and unique desserts!

We have been to Vampire Penguin many times. It’s always good and fresh. The employees are so kind. We recently had a birthday event there for 20ish people and VP handled it wonderfully. If you’ve not tried this dessert you should!
