Such a great hidden gem in Santa Monica. We came by on a Sunday around 5pm–friendly service and a relaxed vibe right off the bat.
The cocktails (Skinny Z’s and Gracias Jesus, both extra spicy) were refreshing and flavorful. The lime bitters in the Skinny Z really gave it a nice pop.
Food-wise, the 7 Layer Dip was surprisingly light and super tasty–not your usual heavy version. The grilled fish tacos were tender and melt-in-your-mouth good. The duck tacos were a standout–rich, flavorful, and with an unexpected but delicious Asian twist. The house made flour tortillas were phenomenal and make sure to ask for both in-house hot sauces – spicy and worth dipping everything in.
Definitely worth a visit!

In the neighborhood, and we’re looking for some good Mexican food and we found it! Small establishment run by people who obviously care. Food is fresh and seasoned beautifully and cooked with Obvious love. Staff was wonderful you ordered a selection of tacos and every single one was spectacular. Also ordered a burrito.(I was really hungry) Which was perfect easy to hold grill around the outside crunchy and so delicious! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Had a really good time here for Taco Tuesday. Valentina was fantastic! She was very friendly and helpful, as well as the other staff. The food was really good and we loved the fresh cucumber juice for the margaritas. The vibe was great because it wasn’t too busy and felt really welcoming. I’d definitely recommend and will come back!

This is a cute spot! Idk why it isn’t busier tbh. The wait staff was super friendly and we were seated right away. The street style tacos were great. I had the pollo, Baja fish taco and the birria taco and I would order all again!

Love this little gem in Santa Monica. I almost walked right by it, but had a great time for tennis Tuesday. Valentina was amazing and took great care of us. I just moved to the area and looking forward to becoming a regular.

WARNING they have new management and this isn’t the same place you know and loved! I was extremely disappointed when visiting the other night. We were unaware the management changed so everything was different. The portions were small and took forever to come. We ordered nachos and it had no flavor. I ordered a Paloma and it came without any tequila. (Not by my choosing). Oh did I mention we were the first people there when they opened… I will never return. If you know who the old management is let me know so I can attend their restaurant.

Food was amazing, drinks were strong, and the vibe was great — such a fun spot overall. Prices are a bit high, but honestly, totally understandable these days and not something I really mind.
That said, there was one young guy working that night — not sure if he’s the owner or just staff — but I’m pretty sure he was high while working. I could smell it, see it, and feel it.
I know running a restaurant isn’t easy, and I really do like this place. I’ll like be back. But honestly, having staff in that kind of state is risky and could hurt the experience in the long run.

Extremely disappointing tacos! Ordered fish, tacos and steak tacos. When I asked the server, if this is the amount of fish that usually comes with the taco, he said “um yea, typically one cube of fish.” (See photo).
Steak tacos were poorly seasoned and had a lot of chewy fat…
Would not go back, as there are many better taco spots on west side.

The saddest tacos ever is what you get at Vamos Vamos. They actually advertised $10 tacos, like that was a deal. $10 tacos? I asked for salsa and they told me it was $4.75 and you get chips with that. Salsa is the spirit of a taco, but at Vamos Vamos you have to pay extra for the spirit. Forgot the napkins too!

Such a wonderful place and the bartender who was there was so nice and made some amazing margaritas. Loved the food and the vibe. Every place in L.A should be this welcoming and friendly
