For many years my family and I have dined at this location. In the last year food and service has decreased significantly. Most recently we’ve been made to wait significant amount of time to be seated because we were missing one member of our group. This while the restaurant was nearly empty. Foot portions are a lot smaller and have lost its flavor. I do not recommend this place and will no longer dine here.

It may be in an older strip mall that can turn some off, but Vamos a Texcoco is a gem. They can make an exceptional barbacoa taco. Their goat birria was also delicious. They have a history fueled by passionate pursuit of serving great food. I can’t wait to return and try more of their offerings.
I have seen some negative reviews about their service. I did not see a hint of that.

Wow, what an amazing experience! We had the lamb and rolled tacos/flautas…..sooooo juicy and tender. The salsa was on point. Very authentic and felt like I was eating cuisine from Mexico City. Would come again.

This small ran family restaurant is great. The food taste almost exactly like the food in Mexico restaurant. The birria is really great as well as the puerco, chick, and steak. The salsa is outstanding overall the wait is a bit long but worth it.

I always visit from Michigan and make sure to stop here every time. This is the most fresh, delicious, authentic family owned Mexican food I have ever had. The food is made with so much love and is amazing quality for the price. I always get lamb, which they serve family style with broth to dip your tacos in some guacamole on the side. 10/10 every time. The owner is so kind and welcoming to top everything off. I miss this place when I leave and it stays in the topic of my conversations for months after. Please try this place as it will definitely become your favorite.

The staff is very friendly and provide good service. I highly recommend trying out the barbacoa tacos! I also ordered a small bowl of birria de borrego (goat stew) and it tasted great! I highly recommend that as well.
