We were visiting friends in St Cloud. My husband went for his morning walk. He walked passed Val’s Hamburgers. Because of it’s unique look we knew we had to eat there. Our friends highly recommended Val’s too.
You place your order on a kiosk. Your order number is the last four numbers of your cellphone number.
We ordered a double cheeseburger, french fries, a chocolate shake and a banana shake. The banana shake taste like a piece of laffy taffy candy. It is a small space and it was crowded. We received our order in less than 20 minutes. Everything was DELICIOUS!

The burgers and fries are amazing! The prices, you cannot beat. I do suggest to get at least the double burgers as they are very thin and 2 put together would be one. The fries are incredible. Everything is made to order. If you are looking to sit down, bring camping chairs and have a little picnic in the parking lot. I wish I didn’t live so dang far away, this would be a frequently visited burger spot.

Had the opportunity to visit Val’s Hamburgers tonight.
Very small walk-in ordering area and kitchen.
Waited for 15 minutes for 2 double cheeseburgers and fries but was very pleased with the works burger and fries.
The fries were perfectly cooked and hot and fresh.
The burgers were delicious with tons of flavor. Fried onions, ketchup, mustard, and pickles. Yum. Great prices too. Wish I had room for a milkshake, they looked amazing.
Definitely a staple of the community being around since 1959. Will be back next time I’m in St. Cloud.

This place is cool! Super old school but modernish with the order flow. Perfectly simple menu. Might as well be 1960. Its like McDonald’s first few yrs edition. When u can smell the onions from the parking area, GO!

It was so good, fresh and fast. There were 8 people in the building when I showed up. I had my food in about 10 min after I ordered. I love every bite. The fries were some of the best I have had in YEARS! So good! The burger was fresh and juicy. 10/10 recommend

Vals is always a fantastic go-to when on a cities trip or otherwise passing through the St. Cloud area. The burgers are slider-sized and are an easy 10/10. The fries are simply incredible, especially when paired with the burgers (10/10).
I recommend getting the triple patty burgers for the best meat-to-bun ratio. Two is enough for a grown man. Also, one order of fries is plenty for two people.
If you’re driving, have a passenger order ahead of time online, it is a lot easier, especially when the place gets busy.

Val’s has turned to . 55min to get an online order that was supposed to take 20min – no remorse, no solution. When I got home NONE of our crappy burgers had any cheese, the fish sandwich with extra cheese had no cheese, $10 worth of cheese. Again, no remorse or solution, they just hung up on me. Never again, y’all SUCK! Aaron was even yelling in the background they won’t help and to stop calling. No professionalism or care – total nonsense.
(My response to owners claim below) Owner claims I was yelling into the phone – incorrect. I did tell them I at least expect an answer if they aren’t willing to help with the mistake. They continued to hang up. They certainly had a choice to resolve the issue rather than calling the police (gross misuse of public resources). The officer that responded admitted he didn’t think there was any need to come out, and admitted the restaurants claim deemed a little over the top.
To think, a restaurant owner would rather start a fight with a customer and call the police, than admit he was wrong and fix the problem. He was literally the one working the grill that messed up our entire order. Let’s not forget about the 55min wait for FAST FOOD! I didn’t even get 10 words in, because even though I called 13 times you wouldn’t even speak to me. You still haven’t even tried to speak to me or resolve a thing.
No need to worry about a trespass order. I never intended to return to your business.

I came here because someone on social media had recommended Val’s. The cheeseburgers were tasty especially with everything in the burger. The shake was awesome. Before drinking the shake, the food just hit different with a wild cherry Pepsi. If you get fries they put some extra in the bag. I ended up eating the car. There is no seating as it is strictly order and pickup. There is ample amount of parking . If you are in the St. Cloud area, I’d say go to Val’s for good eats.

Burgers were very greasy. So greasy the bun was soggy with grease. They do give you lots of french fries. Chocolate shake was good. There’s no sit down tables. Friendly people. I suggest calling ahead with your order. I was there during lunch rush, and it was very crowded.
