My husband placed 2 pantrout dinner orders and added okra around 2:15. He was told it was going to take 50 mins for the order to be ready. He arrived around 3:05, and the order wasn’t ready. The order wasn’t ready until 4:12. When he made it home with our dinner it was small cut up pieces of pantrout. The fish was hard and overcooked. The salad was shredded lettuce with nothing on it. Total came to $68
The food was great.
We had a wait time of 50 mins because they were packed…business was booming. Every time a car pulled off another one took its place.

My husband, who grew up in Jackson, took me to Valley Street Fish House for dinner. I didn’t know what to expect because the aging facade of the building does not accurately reflect the quality of the food. We both ordered the catfish. The lady who took our order was polite and efficient. The food was hot and good. We will be back soon!

This is a made to order restaurant so there may be some wait. But the wait is definitely worth it. I had the pan trout plate and for $15.00 you definitely get your money worth had like 5 or 6 pieces of fish. Customer service was 10 ⭐️’s

Tried out Valley Street Fish House today and they definitely didn’t disappoint!!!!! Fish was light and flaky and the breading was crunchy and seasoned just right!!!!! Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for an excellent fish plate!!!!!

I have known the owner for over 40 years. Met him when I was at JSU for the summer in 79. He and his family were then the same as they are now. Wonderful people whom make the world’s best fish sandwiches and fries . Ohhhhhhhh the plate meals there are no words. The friendliness and care that is put in cooking your meal is filled full of love. Keep the blessings coming!!! Love this place and people!!!
