The chicken masala was very good, the chicken piccata was ok but I didn’t taste any lemon, the wedge was bland and the onion soup was plentiful but just okay.

First time here and we loved it. The throwback steakhouse vibe stays close to its roots and provides a really nice atmosphere. We were looking to go casual and had the Wagyu burger and it was phenomenal. Mix in great cocktails, friendly and efficient service and a strong dessert menu and this gets an easy 5 starts. As a staple in the valley for over 75 years, it shows they’re obviously doing a lot of things right. If you’re anywhere near The Valley Inn, do yourself a favor and get in there ASAP!

This is a very nice, well decorated, old-school dining room. We stopped off Sunday night without reservation and immediately were seated.
I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta. They leave the tail on the shrimp. I personally do not eat the tail nor do I know anyone who does. Most fine restaurants remove the tail before they serve them. I don’t know what their excuse was here. Pretty disappointed in the pasta, angel hair. The pasta tasted watery. It should be buttery, cheesy and garlic tasting. This wasn’t.
The wife ordered Chicken Milanese, it came with spaghetti.
The chicken was delicious and it was a very large piece, we ended up, sharing it, and it was very good. The spaghetti on her plate that was offered as a side was not good at all. It was boring and lacked any flavor or taste.
When you spend close to $100 for two meals, your expectations are high, unfortunately these were not what you would expect.

The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman – the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people – only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo

I sometimes stop by on Sunday’s for some good food and drinks. The bartender on Sunday’s (Anuar) is wonderful always very courteous, and professional and creates a great atmosphere for the patrons. Great neighborhood Restaurant and Martini Bar. Definitely recommended, amazing steaks and pastas. Try everything, it’s all delicious.

First visit but not last. Reserved booth for birthday dinner. Cozy, food tasty, service wonderful, blueberry lemon drop martini yummy. There were two parties there but they’re closed off from main dining room so it wasn’t noisy. Not fast food. They don’t rush you. We were there almost 3 hours. Nice spot for special occasion. Do make a reservation as it filled up after 6:30 on a Saturday night. There’ was live piano music as well as a separate, small sports bar that looked welcoming.
