Good people, good food, quick service. I got the Italian grinder w/ fries. Well seasoned and I really liked their take on sliced pepperoncini’s. Next time I’ll ask for veggies on the sandwich, all it needed was a little crunch.

Wanted to try another place in the area besides Charlie Brown’s. Boy am I glad we did. The owner was very kind and walked us through the menu, and what they do. I got a Knockwurst, while my wife got the Cuban Reuben. While I enjoyed my dish, and would absolutely get it again, I think hers won the lunch contest. Its a little hot inside, so I’d suggest going in the evening to maximize the enjoyability of the experience.

Dishonest, non-reliable, questionable.
We loved the previous owners and were constant customers. When the place was taken over by Tibor, things changed for the worse. We had ordered meat products from the owner few weeks before Christmas, when the time came to pick up the order the staff “could not find the order” and the owner was never available and was avoiding the calls.

My late sister and I loved to go here when we would venture out to shop at Charlie Browns. We would stop here for the sausage and it was always delicious. It was a very popular place and not too large so we usually had a little wait but it was worth it. I haven’t been in a while but definitely plan on going back.

My family has visited this location for over 30 years to purchase Hungarian meats and sausages for holidays and celebrations. The deli has always been family owned and even though they did take on additional partners the quality and taste remained the same. I am very sad to see this business close and I have been unable to find a deli with the same quality and taste in Hungarian meats and sausages.

I stop by here 3 times a month when I travel to the Antelope Valley. It is no longer Valley Hungarian, it has been called Tibor’s European Gourmet for quite a while now. And it is worth it to stop in and check it out!
