Reviews
If you’re anywhere near Seneca, do yourself a favor and stop at Valley Dairy. This place is the definition of comforting, homestyle cooking done right. I walked in expecting a simple meal — I walked out already planning my next visit.
The Corned Beef Hash & Eggs
The star of the morning! The corned beef hash is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with that rich, savory flavor only real corned beef delivers. Pairing it with perfectly cooked eggs took it to another level — yolks just right, seasoned well, and absolutely delicious with every bite of hash. It tasted like something your grandmother would make… if your grandmother was an award-winning breakfast chef.
The Haystack
This is comfort food stacked to perfection. It comes out as a hearty tower of flavors — golden hash browns, eggs, cheese, and toppings all layered into a warm, satisfying masterpiece. Every forkful is the perfect mix of creamy, crispy, cheesy goodness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you stop talking, close your eyes, and just enjoy.
The Valley Club
Hands-down one of the best club sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The bacon is crisp, the turkey is fresh and flavorful, and the tomatoes and lettuce are bright and crunchy. Layered between perfectly toasted bread, it has that satisfying bite where everything stays together but still feels full and hearty. It’s the kind of sandwich that leaves you thinking, “I could eat that again tomorrow.”
And the Ice Cream…
You cannot leave without dessert. Valley Dairy’s ice cream is incredibly smooth, rich, and full of flavor — the kind that reminds you of old-fashioned ice cream shops. Whether you get a simple scoop or a full sundae, it’s the sweet, creamy cherry on top of an already fantastic meal.
Friendly staff, relaxed vibe, and consistently great food make this place an easy 5 stars. If you’re in the area, Valley Dairy in Seneca is absolutely worth the stop!
Piece of cake with one single pineapple on top. It was good. But not what I was expecting. So yes I was deceived. Unfortunately. So with that being said not sure if I’ll be returning anytime soon. And I’d like to point out that the one girl at the register was extremely rude with a nasty attitude and was holding up the girl trying to ring us up by not allowing her to do her job.
We were informed that we’d need to sit in the ‘atrium’, away from the primary dining area, because they had issues with a dog of a different customer recently, days before our arrival.
This is an act of blatant discrimination and a violation of the ADA laws, but we didn’t want to cause any problems – we just will NEVER return to ANY ‘Valley Dairy’ restaurant.
Food was incredible, the wait staff as nice as you could ask for, and the whole establishment was hospital-level clean.
Enjoyed our dinner SO much, we came back for breakfast the NEXT day!!
We had a great dinner at a very reasonable price.
The photos are of pretzel bites and beer sauce which were fantastic. The coleslaw is very creamy and nowhere near bitter which is the way I like it. The bacon cheeseburger was wrapped between two toasted cheese sandwiches which is very filling.
The burger does need dipped in aiuju sauce before hitting the bread if manager’s read reviews. Taste boiled!
All in all I gave a 5 Star because it was a quick turn around time from the cooks and Aundrea provided exceptional service for her first time being a waitress.
We will certainly stop again if it’s too hot to cook at home.
Great prices for well prepared and tasty
menu items.
Great food! Great service and a nice clean place with a family atmosphere!
While I have had many different dishes over the years, my go to is usually the Reuben with a side of sweet potato fries!
