Food was hot and very tasty, the portions were ample. I had the fried fish dinner with onion rings and mac-n-cheese, and my partner had the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. Our server was very nice and attentive. Prices are average for a family restaurant, and the atmosphere was clean and homey.

Service was great. Inside was very clean. For seated right away. Prices are very reasonable. Had the grilled chicken wrap. Had chicken, cheese, lettuce, ranch. Was not bad tasting at all, although the wrap was not full of ingredients. Wife had the open turkey sandwich with gravy. Gravy was done well, but the turkey tasted salty in several bites, and get the impression it was made from a boneless turkey breast type thing based on the flavor. Also had two sundaes which were quite good.

We’re big fans of Valley Dairy, but this location might be our favorite now.
1) It’s maintained beautifully. It’s clean, literally everywhere: vents, booths, floor, bathroom. Cleanest restaurant I’ve seen in quite awhile…
2) The staff seem genuinely happy. And they’re attentive, almost like it’s a commercial.
3) The food is great. It’s like Denny’s or Bob Evans USED to be, ….about 30 years ago.
4) The manager (Jennifer) is incredibly nice, and runs a tight ship. On the first night we were there (we went back again 2 days later), she was waiting on 6+ tables, plus running the cash register, and we STILL didn’t wait for our food or for refills.
It was impressive.
If you’re anywhere in the Belle Vernon area around breakfast, lunch OR dinnertime, you’re not gonna find a better meal than what you’ll get here.

I placed a pickup order for breakfast, come to find out they use DoorDash for online ordering regardless if picking up or delivery, when I arrived I was told my amount and paid. When I got home both the meals were completely wrong, items wrong, food burnt, and found hair in the food. We call the store and spoke with Jennifer who was very polite and apologetic. I will say we were offered a replacement or refund. We opted for refund because after the whole thing we lost our appetite. Jennifer explained because we used door dash she couldn’t do the refund. I explained I paid in store only ordered thru the website. Well come to find out I paid twice. Again thru all of this Jennifer was pleasant and helpful. She explained I had to call DoorDash for that refund and that she would work on getting the refund from the store end. Ok, no big deal she told me stop up in a few hours and she would handle that part. I stop in couple hours later ask for Jennifer and a gentleman begins to explain why they can’t give me the refund. All I did was ask why did they have me come up if a refund couldn’t be done? He started to give a little bit of attitude and began explaining further things about IT not answering them etc. This didn’t make sense to me as how can a manager not initiate a refund? When I am in store with my card? So all I did was ask again ok why didn’t they just tell me so I wouldn’t of waited instead of coming back up? At this point he jumps up asks what the amount was to which I said $25 something as he ran off. I pulled out my phone to look at my bank and by the time it loaded he returned and I said it was $25.48 to which he ran off again to the register. I said hey I don’t care about the .48 cents but he grabs $26 from the register shoves it into my stomach and says “you obviously need it more then us”. At that point I was about to lose it but just took the money and walked out. Issues happen we never raised our voices or complained Jennifer was exemplary and handling everything fine. But whoever this gentleman is completely changed this whole experience. Jennifer if you see this thank you for actually being helpful and kind. But to the gentleman you shouldn’t be in any position of management and hopefully your not. To treat someone with such disrespect was uncalled for. You treated me like this was my issue or I was trying to get something for nothing. Which was not the case. Unfortunately after that I will never spend another cent here.

We are in Belle Vernon on vacation and decided to stop in a try a new place besides Hoss. We ordered the double patty cheeseburger and chicken tenders with fries. The cheese burger was didn’t seem like it was even real beef, really spongey with no taste. Definitely not worth almost $13. And the chicken tenders tasted like processed chicken nuggets from McDonald’s. The server never came back and seen how our food was. Won’t be back. And will not recommend to anyone.

Can’t even answer your phone to ask about the soup of the day despite DoorDash TELLING ME TO CALL YOU. I’ve called 10 times with no answer. Put the soups with the day they’re served on the menu or do your job and answer the damn phone if you want me to call so bad.
