First time here and it won’t be my last! Loved the colors and the ambiance. The paints on the wall are some to look at as well. Drinks and food are good prices. And I loved the music. Came for a concert and ended up staying after. Definitely will be back!

I recently performed here as a DJ, and Valley Bar is hands-down one of the most professional, artist-friendly venues in the city. Sound quality was on point, staff was organized, and the underground vibe creates an intimate, high-energy experience.
For guests: drink prices are fair for downtown, and they offer solid nightly specials. Whether you’re coming for live music, DJs, or just a cool spot to hang, Valley Bar delivers on atmosphere and value.
Highly recommend for both performers and the crowd.

First time at Valley Bar for the Nico Plays concert. Vibes were perfect and had that underground music venue vibes! Great customer service from our bartender. The house Old Fashioned was excellent! I am definitely going to come back here for good craft cocktails! Highly recommend!

Cool vibes for a show! It was hard to find because I’m not from the area, but that made it even cooler! There’s a photo booth and the bar almost had the atmosphere of a speakeasy. Would love to come back next time I’m in town!

This speakeasy is fabulous. Drinks were delicious even the cocktails. Good was generous in portions and hit the spot. The music from DJ EARTHSURFACEOPEN……he was killing it with the tunes. You got to check this spot out people!

The entrance is a bit hard to find, but that’s what makes it even better in my opinion. I LOVED the atmosphere and how it was underground. The menus don’t have prices, my drink was $18 which was a bit much for my liking, but I feel like that’s typical nowadays. The cocktail was fantastic tho. We went on Valentine’s Day and surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. I loved the jazz music they had playing.

The quintessential “ungrounded music venue.” Literally.
Reasonable prices for drinks/doors, good drinks and friendly staff. Plus the perfect amount of insulation between the bar and the show floor: just enough so you know a set’s stared but to still allow for conversation w/o having to shout over it.
Plus some fun cocktails named after local politicos. Any place putting Absinthe in a drink named after Barry Goldwater is ok by me.

Love the atmosphere. Good music gets played here. This is also hidden in between an alley. However, service can be very slow especially when there’s only 2 people on the bar who can take orders for both food and drinks and there’s a long wait sometimes to order and get your orders. It would be good if there was a waiter to make it faster.

I attended Barflies event and had a great time! Unique venue and worth a visit if you’re in downtown Phoenix. Tasty cocktails with a story behind each name. Didn’t try any food; bartender service was slow with little eye contact nor friendly bantering. Customer service is lacking across all industries; maybe the lack of consistent friendly service is we are living in apathetic times….
