We stopped by Valley Azteca Restaurant in Arcata, CA this weekend — what a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the enchiladas — the sauce is incredibly flavorful — and the veggie quesadilla was packed with taste. The service was excellent, too! We can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes. Highly recommended!

Fist time we tried this place. Wasn’t sure what we were gonna get. Very big portions. So many options. I know what I’m gonna try next time. The food was great the drink was was strong. The price was very good. I don’t understand the bad reviews I think this place is great. Next time I’m bringing the kids.

I forgot this place existed. I thought the chips and salsa were pretty good, they didn’t offer a refill though. I ordered the valley fajita burrito, and it said it came with beans and rice, but it comes in the burrito and not on the side like I thought. It feels like the inside froze in 2020 and didn’t catch up to now if that makes sense? The food is okay and so is the service.

Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. There were 4 of us and no one finished their food . My shrimp cocktail had a flavor I’ve never tasted before in a cocktail. The beans were no good, the tortillas felt like they were old reheated tortillas, which is a no no unless you’re making tostadas. The seasoning in everything was off. everything was tried but nothing finished. I don’t understand the high rating. Place was empty and I understand why.

I love this place. The food is delicious and the service is sweet. Everything is good. I’m addicted to the chile relleno. I ask for more beans than rice and they happily oblige.

Nice, simple restaurant. A big group of us and allowed for separate checks. We ordered many items from the menu. Servings were generous, the service was friendly. I chose a shrimp chimichanga, salad, rice, elote.

The food is amazing!! This place may be bad for indecisive people because there are so many menu options. They have over 30 combo plate options! The picture is a two taco and one enchilada plate. (Yes there is an enchilada in all that gooey deliciousness!) Not only is the food good but they had great columbian coffee and the staff is very upbeat and welcoming. This may have to be a new favorite to add to the list. ❤️ Can’t wait for my next visit.

Truly authentic Mexican food. I ordered a churro and got back the most delicious dessert I’ve had in my life! The tamales were excellent, every bite of this dinner from the salsa to the rice and beans to the stunning #5 was heavenly. Could not recommend this place enough!
