Delicious food. Super clean place. Real good Mexican cuisine. You can’t go wrong here. I really value the awesome customer service. Very respectful. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks a lot. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas with rice & beans. Delicious

Pros – Chips and salsa were good. Margaritas were tasty, strong and a good value ($18 half pitcher). Food came out very quickly. Too quick honestly, IYKYK.

Cons – The food was not good. I’m sincerely confused at all the reviews talking about how good the food is here. The rice and beans were bland, the cheese was greasy, the chile relleno was unrecognizable and gross, and the beef in the tacos and burritos didn’t have a hint of seasoning. It tasted like a Mexican dinner someone from Ohio would make with an old El Paso kit from the grocery store, not something you’d get at a restaurant. The food came out TOO fast, it was obviously pre-portioned and microwaved before serving. Cheese was lava hot on some of the plate and not melted on other parts.
If I come back it will strictly be for margaritas and chips as the food was so disappointing. There’s too much great Mexican food in Tampa to settle.

This place looks amazing and fun. I came in on an early Saturday afternoon. Low staffed yet friendly.

I will say food was served super fast. Ordering and service did not flow the same way. But once the food was up it came out.

All around they have some good specials and seems to be a great spot for an evening dinner with friends and margaritas. The vibe is not the same when there is no crowd.

When it comes to dining out, I hold restaurants to high standards and am selective with where I choose to eat. Not many restaurants meet my expectations, as I believe food should be treated with care and respect. Upon arriving at this particular restaurant, I immediately noticed its cleanliness, an important factor in my assessment. The bar area was well-organized and less cluttered, with a drain on the floor, suggesting a thorough cleaning process rather than just a quick wipe-down.
I decided to dine at the bar and was delighted by the excellent food quality and presentation. Their homemade sauce is a must-try, as it truly enhances the flavors of their dishes. Curious to see the kitchen’s cleanliness and organization, I took a peek and found it to be well-maintained and clutter-free. This attention to detail is commendable and left a lasting impression on me.
I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to friends. Kudos to the management and staff for their dedication to quality and cleanliness. Keep up the excellent work!

This was the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving down to Florida.

The food was freshly made, quickly made as well.

It’s typical Mexican food, burritos, tacos, etc… but it tastes amazing and cooked pretty much to perfection.

The place was cozy, not cramped. Plenty of designs on the chairs and wall art to keep your wandering eye entertained. The staff was friendly although not too attentive but they had the order right and everything came out perfect.

The pollo loco is fantastic!

I will definitely be visiting again!!

This place is a highlight for our family. We discovered it by accident after spending a day at Busch Gardens, and ever since, we always go back if we’re in the area. The food, atmosphere, and service are great, and the price is on point, even for a large family.

Sloppy and unwilling to fix the problem the children didn’t even eat and I mix shift a taco out everything because I felt bad my sister wanted to treat me to a Mexican restaurant this was more like island food infused and it should have just stated we are a mix of different types of food. I learn my lesson this tamale was done poorly the meat and sauce goes inside the tamales and the Chile Relleno are not supposed to have cheese that doesn’t stay inside it was all watering and your supposed to grill the Jalapeno peppers so it natural oils in the jalapeno are tasted and I have no idea what sauce on top this was but please add salt and pepper to the sauce or keep it on the table so it can be add to the cooking

Last night I ate at this establishment and it was my fault for confusing the kind waiter who ended up giving us two portions of fajitas instead of one for me and my girlfriend to share. She brought this up to him and he waived off one of the fajita portions off the bill. I was very happy with my service here and the food was great!

I didn’t expect to walk into Vallarta Restaurant and come out thinking this was the absolute best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time, but here we are.
Our waiter was Gustavo and he was awesome, almost as good as the food! I had the fajita lunch and as soon as I had that first bite a plethora of unique flavors captivated me.
I’ve had plenty of Mexican as it’s my girlfriends favorite type of food, the majority are not unique and once you had a fajita you’ve had them all, but this one was so different and amazing.
If you like Mexican food, don’t walk, run to this place as soon as you can. You will not be disappointed!!

Not the greatest photo but as you can see, it doesn’t look like a dry meat fajita plate like most other restaurants have.
