What you expect from a local Mexican place in Kentucky but with extra benefits. Tons of seafood options and cheap beer make this place definitely worth a repeat visit and certainly better than other chains in the area. Excellent hot sauce selection on the tables as well.

Wonderful service, atmosphere, food and drinks! I went on a Saturday evening with my partner and there was a live band. Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The food was amazing and we received complimentary tequila shots. I’d like to thank our waitress, Joanna for her hospitality. We will be back and will recommend!

This place is amazing! Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. And the drinks were incredible, too. I sat at the bar and watched the bartender making the drinks with fresh squeezed citrus in every drink. The service was terrific. If I could give more stars I would. I’ll definitely be back.

The restaurant itself was very cozy. With a bar as soon as you walk in, it was very welcoming. However, the food was subpar at best. Myself and my daughter ordered the shrimp salad. The lettuce that was used seems to be the primary lettuce that is used on every plate. The salad itself was extremely watery. The lettuce had been in a ice water bin. If they could have spun the lettuce better before selling then the salad would have been better. My wife’s chimichanga was very bland. The chicken inside was old…not tender at all. My youngest daughter ordered shrimp and rice. The rice was very spicy. I wish the menu or the server would have mentioned that. Lastly, the server never checked on us and we all had empty drinks.

This is by far the absolute BEST seafood I’ve had in a very long time. It is also authentic Mexican seafood. The fish was perfect. Great portions. Very friendly and fun atmosphere. There is always live music that gives such a positive vibe. We cracked our crab and tapped our feet at the same time. We gad been struggling to find good restaurants in Louisville. This is the best seafood in Louisville. Be patient and nice to the staff and enjoy yourself.

When the server couldn’t understand she simply pulled out her translator & got me what I needed. Honestly, I’ve never seen Mexicans eat at a Mexican restaurant. This place was full of them. I believe because it’s authentic. I enjoyed the food & service.

We stopped in here for lunch before going to Aldi’s and it wasn’t bad at all but it’s no fine dine restaurant. We ordered sandwiches and they were huge and filling also I ordered a mango margarita and the drink was thick and had a very strong mango flavor, I was impressed and didn’t care that it had alcohol in it. The seafoods on the menu was plentiful but I didn’t order it because I had a mother’s day dinner in mind for later. The clientele was mostly Mexican which screams you’re in the right place for Mexican food.

Fresh and delicious tacos salads with shredded chicken, guacamole and chips. We got the hibiscus tea and regular tea and those both were delicious with our meals. Everything was exactly as we ordered for take out. We are visiting from out of town but this would be our rotational lunch spot if we were locals!!
