I initially had dismal expectations because of the location. Let me say this place was phenomenal. The food was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and cooked properly. The tomatillo sauce was just right. Everything had tons of flavor. One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ate at in little long time.

Second trip here 30 may…manager needs to train servers… still service DOESNT value selling dessert..wont ask if you want dessert…i ordered it with my meal to insure I would get it.

The food was good but nobody asked me for dessert and nobody brought me a ticket I would have bought something for dessert that they said something to me. The food was good the chips and salsa were good I was actually passing by there yesterday and thought I should stop but I didn’t have time

Went in to eat and there was no one up front. We waited for about 5-7 minutes before someone finally got up there. Even then the employee only acknowledged me to ask me to move so that he could check someone out. Finally after about 10-12 minutes we were told they had to clean some tables and then we would be seated… there were at least 4-6 tables that I counted that were clean and unseated. We still continued to wait but after 30 minutes and watching other people walk out as well, we decided to just go somewhere else. I understand being short staffed but what was the point of adding additional space to the restaurant if you can’t keep up with the additional business? Make it make sense. The sad part is, we haven’t eaten at Vallarta in almost a year because the last time we did, I got extremely sick and spent the night vomiting. I still decided to give it another chance. I won’t make that mistake again.

This is the second place that I have found these pineapple fajitas served in half of the pineapple shell with chunks of pineapple cooked in the mix. OMG it is so good. I seen it on the menu in google maps and I immediately knew where I was going. If you haven’t tried this I highly recommend it.

The taco salad was delicious and full of shredded chicken. The shell was lightly fried and still hot – not greasy at all. I ate more than half of the shell. So much chicken that I couldn’t finish it all – and I was hungry. Nicely decorated inside. Good friendly servers who check back on you. Will definitely eat there again.
