Went with a large group of friends. The service was excellent and we were looked after well by the server. The food was very delicious and the portions were huge! Great place to get together with friends and have a great meal at very reasonable prices, especially for the amount of food that they give you!

The restaurant itself is nice and clean, and the servers are friendly and helpful—which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the food just doesn’t deliver.
The “table-side” guacamole was way too salty for my taste—and despite the name, it wasn’t made at the table. The salad felt like an afterthought: generic ingredients, lukewarm dressing served in a plastic single-serve container, and what seemed like pre-sliced, packaged avocado.
All in all, it was a disappointing food experience. Great service can only go so far when the meal itself falls flat.

I tried the fried (whole) Tilapia and asked to switch the rice with grilled veggies. It was very delicious and juicy. Food came out super fast. Very nice and patient server. Super reasonable prices! Had to review the check twice to make sure they didn’t miss anything.

Great experience overall. My husband and I are from out of state and needed some good food for dinner. 10 out of 10 recommend Vallarta. Our waitress was amazing and so attentive, the food was absolutely delicious. We even got a non alcoholic Pina colada that was spectacular. Every single staff member we came in contact with was so kind. The atmosphere was welcoming, everything was so clean. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will 100% be returning. Thank you to everyone!

First time coming here the food was excellent. I enjoyed the decor in the restaurant. I like the fact that it wasn’t too crowded. I wish the seating options were better for larger parties but overall the food and the drinks were really good. They have a great menu.

I went here since six months ago, and I actually went back last night. Food was still amazing. The drink was huge and good. My only complaint is I asked for a spicy salsa, but I was never informed I was gonna be charged the original salsa for the chips I had no flavor.

You get a lot for the money if you go for lunch! Full-size portion for lunch! I had the lunch steak fajitas which were delicious!
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, very holiday decorated, clean.
The host and waitress Johanna were very sweet and accommodating. I did ask for some white sauce, but wasn’t told it was 99cent extra. The guacamole was included with the meal for no extra charge and was very fresh!!
Vallarta is a hidden gem off of West Broad St. located next to the Navy Federal on Glenside where the old Bob Evans used to be.

A much needed different kind of Mexican joint. They had a lot of new and unique food items, especially with seafood. Very stylish inside, with a very up to date style. Good-sized bar, to sit at as well. Food portions were very large. Overall the food was ok, my fish tacos were very soggy, to the point, that I didn’t finish them. My wife also wasn’t overly thrilled with hers, but was said it was ok. My daughter very much liked hers, and we all ate off her plate, it was good. We will definitely come back. We liked the place, staff was awesome and they have enough things to try something different.
