So So delicious. Everything we tried was AMAZING!
The Al pastor was perfect and their carnitas are so juicy. Honestly I would drink the green salsa if it was acceptable. Family owned and you can tell by the intricacy in the recipes, the care in the customer service and the decor choice (handmade plates? So cool)
Honestly I’m so happy we stopped in- this is now a go to for us. Thank you for an amazing lunch.

We finally made it in to try Valenz Mexican Kitchen, and wow, it did not disappoint! Such a welcoming, happy, friendly environment..everyone was so enthusiastic and kind, impeccable service for sure!
I had two shrimp tacos, and they were honestly some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. Generous shrimp portion, perfectly seasoned and sauced, with fried cheese on the tortillas..mouth watering, crave-able, deliciousness. I will definitely be back just for these!
My husband and son each had giant wet super burritos, a chicken and an Al pastor..both great! Again, very generous portions, well thought out flavors, perfect execution.
Oooooh and we LOVED both salsas that came with the chips..especially the green!! We are already planning our next trip back.

Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. Ive been here 3 times and its my Absolute favorite. The wet burrito is huge and filled with meat (unlike Chipotle or any other Mexican restaurant). I love this place but my mom doesnt like it and I dont know why. Everyone else in my family loves it.

Coming here for a meal is like visiting a favorite family member, and every dish we’ve had here has been full of wonderful flavor. Plus, it’s the only Mexican sports bar in the area and the only place one can order a Mexican pizza! Come often.
Update:
My chorus had our annual Board installation dinner there on a Sunday evening recently. While the bar side was open they had the entire restaurant side set aside for us. It worked out very well and everyone was happy.

I enjoyed the portion of food, as well as the quality of food from this establishment. They offered large gluten free tortillas, as well as various gluten free options which I appreciated. The staff was not as attentive to the customers coming in and out, but otherwise they were friendly. Curious about what this place is like when it is busy!

Great addition to the community! I have eaten in the brick and mortar (Great service and great food) and I ordered catering style. Typically catering style isn’t as good as in the brick and mortar …. At most places. The food was just as good and HIGHLY recommend. If you are thinking about it; just try it. Don’t think go and eat. You won’t regret it. Also try their spicy salsa’s if you like spicy. Anyways. Go try it. You will like it.

By far my husband’s and my favorite Mexican food in town! This small, family owned business serves up huge portions, with amazing, authentic flavor. The food is always fresh and you’ll never leave hungry. The heart and soul of this family truly shows up in every meal and with each visit.

➕1⭐️for dog friendly patio with shade available. Table cloth a nice feature. Food arrived swiftly but server never returned to refill my water glass and see how I was doing. Chips and salsa arrived after my food was served. Not even slightly busy on a Tuesday at noon. I was a bit let down based on reviews I’d read. My $15 burrito was a $10 burrito at other restaurants.

This past May, the Valenzuela family expanded their food truck and catering business and opened up a brick n mortar restaurant in Cameron Park. It’s called Valenz Mexican Kitchen. They specialize in Sinaloa Mexican food . It’s a sit down restaurant with a family friendly vibes. The menu is compact for now with intentions to expand. The street tacos are tasty. Taste like home cooking.
I dropped in on a lazy Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. The bar had several TVs with various NFL games on. We ordered Mexican cokes in a bottle as well as bottle Jarritos to quench our thirst. Food wise, we ordered street tacos as well… steak and carnitas. The meats were tender and had nice simple flavors. They also serve complimentary chips and salsa. The chips had the look and taste of store bought chips but that salsa. The salsa was darn tasty, fantastic flavors.
