Valentino's Deluxe Coney Island - Detroit, MI 48224

I usually come here for just a coney dog and fries. But I decided to read over the reviews and two reviews stuck out to me about the chicken Alfredo, so I decided I’m gonna take a leap of faith and try it out. Way better than I expected one of the reviews compared the pasta to Olive Garden and I couldnt agree more. The chicken Alfredo meal comes with a fresh side house salad that tasted pretty fresh to my surprise and a buttery piece of toast. I’d highly recommend the Alfredo meal and next time around I’ll try it with shrimp.

I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo pasta, a salad and Chili Cheese Fries. Very very good. I personally love how they took their time with cleaning the shrimp because I didn’t at all see poop tubes through my shrimp and I appreciate that. The alfredo was a wonderful consistency and it left a savory taste in my mouth. I don’t like how sweet the chili sauce is for the fries; should’ve been more salty. The salad taste fresh and the lettuce wasn’t brown. Overall 10/10

Went here for breakfast and ordered 3 omelettes. When I received my food it was handed to me in a brown bag with handles because it was so much good in the containers and it was so heavy and to my surprise that thang was packed. The food was good and no one could finish there food. I’m glad they are up the street so I don’t have to go far to get this good food

I haven’t had the food, but I can tell you they are under staffed and slow. They cheat the system by telling doordash food is ready even though order isn’t ready. They don’t clean the limited parking so when I picked up food today, I fell. I got hurt sliding underneath my car and while they did replace the drink for free, they replaced it with a leaking cup that made a mess in my car. When I asked for something to wipe pop from my phone, and to use the restroom to check my leg for bleeding, they gave me dry napkins for dry sticky pop and looked at me like I was some kind of murderer when they said “oh, we aren’t letting you back here”. I said it feels like it’s dripping, I just want privacy to check it. “Yeah, I don’t know what to tell you. You’re not getting back here.” So yeah, they’re in my neighborhood acting like the people on the other side of the glass aren’t even people. I hope someone has time to sue them if they get hurt. By the way, now that I’m home and checked, I was dripping blood from impact and scrape. They suck as people.

Yes I am a officer and I don’t do reviews too often but I have known Valentino for a very very very long time from when Chris on the store and Val got it back and I’m so glad that he did God don’t make no mistakes when good people with beautiful hearts own businesses I have loved Valentino from the very first day he opened that store and I was the very first dollar he made and he didn’t even know I was a sheriff The store was clean and he treated myself and my autistic daughter with the utmost respect I mean his food was to die for and always has been I love Val and I love Valentino’s Coney Island on morang I have ran into quite a few workers over the years 80% of them were so nasty and disrespectful and when I told Val he took care of it he runs a remarkable place of business and he does not take disrespect especially to his customers that eat there every day literally you guys I was eating there everyday a paying customer nothing free so this review is from my heart I must share that since Valentino’s has gotten rid of all those old disrespectful workers he has one of the sweetest most respectful angels that works for him in the evening her name is Michelle and the cook’s name is DJ My food is never wrong it is forever flawless when those two make my food Don’t get me wrong it’s always perfect but I love when they’re together on shift in the evening when I call it’s hey Mama t Michelle is the most sweetest patient respectful young lady I have ever in my life met and DJ can throw down his food is an orgasm in a box sorry about the detail but it’s the truth lol I take my autistic daughter in there often she is never disrespected or greeted by the panhandlers from the gas station everyone gives us the utmost respect and love because they know Val does not play that and Michelle comes from behind the counter to make sure that child is protected as I’m placing my order she is multitasked and her personality is just one of a kind there needs to be more workers like her and DJ I must say when God created his angels here on earth Michelle and DJ and Val are definitely my three I love them to death if you want the best number one Coney Island food in the world whatever you can think of whatever you can create in your mind Valentino’s will make it happen DJ will throw down and make it possible I toot my horn 10 times for this beautiful meal that I got tonight that was remarkable and filled me up after three bites after a blood transfusion and being so weak they definitely made me smile they made me very comfortable and they made my day I am so glad I called up there to get my food this evening because not only did I smile but I was able to gang my energy back after my surgeries and transfusions and I will be eating there every day from here on like I used to so with that being said I would like to send so much love and the utmost respect hugs and kisses to my three babies Valentino Michelle and DJ thank you for enlightening myself and my daughter’s evening and thank you for helping me regain my energy in my time of need I love you guys so much and keep up the good work you guys are definitely the bomb and God made no mistakes when he put you three together and I’m happy to call you my family I love you guys so much with all the love and respect sincerely your friend officer Daniels we love you so much ❤️ and I’m sorry for the long review but it had to be told and may you all prosper and turn platinum at everything your hand touches God bless you all and your family with sincere love Miss Daniels xoxoxo and Michelle I hope you become the next manager you deserve it you are so kind thank you sweetie..

Ordered chicken stir fry asked for the meat and veggies to be chopped up more (they didn’t) plus the veggies they added was weird I never had Lima beans and corn in my stir fry before … they put giant pieces of broccoli and cauliflower it also looks like they got a bag of mixed vegetables from the grocery store and added it making it with way too many vegetables and not enough rice I mainly paid for vegetables that’s not even fresh. They’re bagged vegetables from the freezer. I know everybody make their food different but what happened to the different color peppers onions snapped peas and broccoli with chicken I’ll say about 2 yrs ago they use to be good they taste nasty now
