Opening for business in July of 2006, our family wanted to create a casual, family-friendly and energetic restaurant that served what we coin “Grandma’s Italian Food”. This simple, authentic and homemade cuisine borrows from every region of Italy, along with a little influence from our Northern New Jersey roots. We are committed to cooking from scratch with the finest ingredients we can find. We serve all natural + no antibiotic chicken. Quality ingredients are only selected and fresh produce is sourced locally when possible. We have a full bar, including boutique wines and craft beers. Service was fine and food was okay. Just a standard, mediocre Italian spot. Pasta was all pretty basic, nothing I couldn’t have made at home by boiling some noodles and putting canned sauce and cheese on top. Pizza was okay but wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce. No reason to go back really, but suppose it did the job for a cheap Italian spot. Would just go to Olive Garden next time I’m craving fast, low quality Italian.

Everything about this place screams “I’m at home” if you’re from NJ or NY. The pizza is on point. The hostesses are lax and incompetent in a very endearing way. And the servers run all over very fast! They give the busses these carts for the dishes which I think is so smart and awesome to make their jobs easier! Couldn’t finish my meal the portion was so great! Calamari cut a little thicker than I Ike but I appreciated that it was all breading. The scarpatiella was “better than he remembered” as my grumpy 87 year old father in law put it. If you have a grumpy old person at home that never wants to go anywhere. Bring them here!!
