This is a great place to eat dinner and our server was awesome. The chicken bacon ranch wraps are SOOOOO freaking awesome!!! We tried the appetizers, fried cauliflower, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and mushrooms with dipping sauce . Delicious!!! They have a stage for bands and the inside is actually good size and lots of room. I was here during the week day and it wasn’t that busy at all but on the weekends I’m sure it’s a lot busier. Talking with some of the locals was great and they were so nice and friendly. I had to take a picture of the oldskool truck in the parking lot because I thought it was really cool and I think it was the couples truck that we were talking to……

We visited the Val-Du-Lakes Bar & Grill with our two kiddos for dinner on our vacation to Silver Lakes. The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. It was very empty for dinner that night, but looks like it could be a fun spot on the weekends or during peak times. The steak was delicious and the drink menu had a lot of fun options.

I ordered s cheeseburger, I even told server that I wanted it well well done. I received a medium well burger. I waited on my server to return so I could have it cooked more, only to find out she had gone on break. Another server said she would get another one cooked for me. She came back several minutes later and explained it would take a little longer because I wanted it cooked well done, no problem. I finally got the second burger with a promise from server that they had checked the temp and it was 200 degrees. I cut burger in half while server was at table and it was more raw than original burger. I guess I was with the wrong group.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but I have to say a little about Val-Du-Lakes bar and grill. We had a AWESOME waitress very helpful and attentive to us. Great atmosphere really cool looking place. And from what I saw for the small amount of time we were there they do a lot for our service members that’s awesome.
The food……it was ok I ordered the olive burger. I thought it would be a little better than it was. Michigan is known for the Olive burger and I’ve hade a few in other places in the state, it’s always it’s usually made with some kind of garlic aïoli mayo and other spices most places go all out on theses burgers because so meany places have them. But not Val-Du. I got just a few olives and just a lil bit of plain mayo. It was ok …… I just expected a little more for the price we were charged. 2 adults 2 children ( who ordered off the kids meal) and I did have one alcohol drink it was $15 that’s a lil high I think. Our bill was $92 dollars for 4 ppl. That’s way too high.
I’m sorry but I don’t think chicken strips and 2 hamburgers isn’t worth 92 dollars.

Food was good, waitress was great, but the size of the burger patty for 15$ was pitiful. Brought it to the attention of the waitress and after taking the patty back to the cook it was deemed a normal sized patty. They offered to recook it but I chose to not wait And just ate It. Burger was a slider patty on a normal sized bun. Wish I took a Pic of the patty but I did take a Pic of the extra bread thay was drowning the patty when I was done.

Nice facility. Went to hippie fest 2017 and had a blast. Would be nice if the facility would of allowed pets at the event as it was my understanding they were the ones who didn’t allow.
