I had a disappointing experience at Vail Brothers- ST.Peters The fish was overcooked and dry, while the French fries were crispy but tasted off. To make matters worse, the cashier overcharged me and didn’t provide a receipt, which felt unprofessional. While the atmosphere was nice, they seem to prepare food however they want, without much care for customer satisfaction. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here—it’s the second time I’ve encountered these problems. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this location.

taste:
chicken wings were on the small side, surprisingly lacked seasoning and were seriously overcooked in dirty grease. The honey-hot sauce was broken and just a cup of spicy oil when brought to table. I ordered cheese sauce which i far to thin to hold to the fries and ultimately made my basket of chicken/fries into a soup.because the sauce was inedible so I did switch to a barbecue sauce which was a delicious sauce and served warm which absolutely loved.
($14 +$2 add on)
The fish sandwich was also a hit. freshly fried fish with GREAT seasoning served with no side

No one to greet at the door, food was ordered from kiosk and sat ourselves and picked up beverages from bar ($4)
The cook was understanding about the sauce and gave the barbecue sauce complimentary.
Atmosphere:
not ideal for a date night. scene is great for happy hour and has a huge bar and large tv’s for sports.

Recommendations:
If you’re looking for good food and service, this is not the place. The scene would be great for a night out with friends for drinks.
