I was recommended to try this restaurant by another Chef in Abilene.
As soon as I walked in, a woman greeted me and was incredibly nice. She asked how my day was going, and seated me at my table. My server promptly came after I was seated and provided kind hospitality.
I ordered the bread and butter appetizer. This was probably the best bread I have ever had. The surface was crinkly and warm, while the inside was pillowy and soft. It’s accompanied by a delicious butter spread.
Now for the margarita pizza! This was the absolute best pizza I have ever had. With standard American pizza it’s heavy, it’s greasy, it’s floppy, and you don’t feel your best after consuming it. But, this margarita pizza was so light. It is drizzled with olive oil, but it did not sit heavy on my stomach. The ingredients are fresh. The flavors blended beautifully with each other. The basil was picked fresh, and the sauce was the perfect flavor with not too much acidity. I took my first bite, and before I knew it I had already taken down 4 pieces. It was so incredibly good. I am a culinary student, so I had to share my leftovers with classmate of mine. She gave the rating 8/10.

The BEST pizza I ever had. The bread is so crunchy but thing and so flavorful. It’s definitely a must in Abeline. We had Mommas favorite, and oh wow, the staff is so nice. They told us the pizza is really good because they prepare everything from scratch. They have their own recipe for the sauce and the bread, they even curate the bacon themselves. We’ll definitely come back

We absolutely love this place. We live North of Houston but come to Abilene for work pretty frequently. We have to keep finding ways to get back here so we can go to Vagabond Pizza. If you haven’t tried the bread with the salted butter, get it. We’ve loved every pizza we’ve tried as well. It’s so cool how they’re always working on new recipes too, so there’s always something new and exciting to try here. What a spectacular business!

In from out of town and last night was my first time in and we had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious, we sat at the bar and the service was superb. The wine suggestion was spot on even had to get a bottle togo. The Camila pizza was so well balanced in flavor the crust was light and made in house. The Dubai chocolate dessert was jaw dropping definitely the chefs kiss.

The best restaurant in Abilene. Send a scout to put your name down, because there may be a substantial wait. But, once inside the staff in attentive. The menu rotates weekly so it’s always offering something new. Our kids ask to come here every time we are in from DFW. As a foodie, I absolutely agree. The Vagabond Salad is my favorite house salad. It has so many layered flavors on it. Our family LOVES the bread and butter, meatballs, Lucia and Margarita. The bartender poured a delicious Red Blend red that included my fav, Barbera. Tonight we get also got the Tiramisu; spectacular.

My wife and I, along with our family have frequently come to Vagabond over the last 5 years since we’ve lived in Abilene and it is definitely my favorite restaurant in Abilene! I’ve had many birthdays and special occasion lunches and dinners here and it has never disappointed even once! From the amazing and friendly customer service to the exceptional food taste and quality, I not only recommend it to anyone who reads this, but I also recommend it to all of my friends and family on a regular basis.

Food was gud but pizza crust was a little bit too crunchy for me. Not havn teeth n tender gums make a difference on wat a person can eat n chew. Service was great and it was a bit loud inside but tolerable. I recommend anyone looking for a gud little pizza place to eat, go here, u won’t be disappointed!
