Excellent Italian cuisine. Everything is homemade daily and you can tell by the quality of the food and the pride in the staff. The pasta was excellent and a very different experience than you’ll get from an average chain restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food but also for the environment and experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wine list is extensive if you choose to buy a bottle. The real question is why wouldn’t you buy a bottle?! We went on a Monday night so there was no wait but I would guess a reservation is recommended to ensure seating.

We were so excited to go here because we’ve heard such good reviews, but overall it was pretty disappointing. My glass of Cab was good, the bread was decent, and my husband thought his lobster and shrimp pasta was OK. The calamari was half hot and half cold, soggy, and drenched in oil. I ordered my salmon medium rare and it came out medium-well to well. My dish was also drenched in oil, literally pools of it on the plate. I had to stop eating it after a few bites because the oil was making me nauseous. We’re very sad because this is so close to our home, but we probably won’t be back.

Great place to enjoy a date night! This is a REAL Italian family Restraunt. Excellent wine menu. We really enjoyed the drinks including the pear martini. The lasagna was excellent and my wife loved the blue fin tuna. The waitress was very attentive and the hostess(Sam) was very friendly and courteous. We will be back again.

Have enjoyed Vaccaros Trattoria for years and have had good service along with good pasta and chicken parm dishes in the past. The most recent visit, however, took a long time, over 40 minutes to get the food after ordering, which we never had to wait that long before, plus they were not that busy 30-40% tables full. I got the Halibut special, a $40 plus meal. The cut of fish was relatively small for $40+ and it was over-cooked. The manager did address the issue by taking the food back, the chef agreed with the over-cooked call out and a small remedy, $10 was discounted off the meal. I wish the meal was comped since more than half was not eaten. All said, one visit that was not great may just be a fluke, I’m just going to stick with the chicken parm and lasagna dishes.

We had a good time here. Our waitress was super nice. The food was good but not great. And the service was a little slow. We weren’t mad about it though. We were happy to sit and chat as the atmosphere was very upscale but relaxed. I do have to say the limoncello crème brûlée was so amazing that I would drink through a straw in a large cup if that was an option.

I just experienced Vaccaros Trattoria for the first time, and it was just that, an EXPERIENCE. One that I will never forget! I made the reservation for dinner to celebrate my 42nd birthday, and from start to finish they did not disappoint! There were four of us that dined and we all chose different dishes, so that could taste different things. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENTLY PRESENTED AND TASTED DELICIOUS! Our server Elise made great recommendations and brought my chosen dessert out with a candle. When my family started singing happy birthday to me, guests I’m the restaurant joined in, and a Monday birthday that was a bit of a challenge turned into a beautiful memory and a wonderful evening! We will be back for sure!!! The owner and staff have found some customers for life.
