Had a family dinner here on a Sunday evening. We had a party of 7 and convinced the hostess to seat us in one of the special rooms that seat 10 people. Service is fast. They have a 2 hour time limit per table so we got down to business and ordered the hot pot & Korean BBQ combo. Keep in mind, the restaurants policy is if one person orders the combo, everyone orders the combo.
Each diner has their own convection plate in front of them so you can pick your own broth and not have to share a communal broth pot.
V-Yan Hot Pot is a BYOB so feel free to bring a cooler or bottle of your favorite spirit.
For dessert they have self serve ice cream station and a traditional sweet warm red bean dessert.
It gets crowded fast and usually have lines of people with wait times exceeding 30 minutes.

Solid all-you-can-eat spot offering both hot pot and Korean BBQ. For one price, you can choose either or both, with a generous two-hour dining window. The food is mostly fresh, with a good variety of vegetables, meats, and seafood to order from the menu. Service is quick—just mark your choices and the staff brings it out.
A self-serve sauce and seasoning bar lets you customize your dips, and they also offer Asian-style desserts and ice cream. The atmosphere is lively, authentically chaotic, and quite noisy—perfect for a fun, casual group outing.

Lack of waiters! I can see tired from the ladies’ faces. I didn’t order BBQ for more than a year. Order the BBQ again today. But the vegetables are not fresh: the asparagus had no heads, and the mushrooms weren’t fresh. You can see from the photo. Hot pot is better. The problem is, I’m getting tired of eating hot pot all the time, so I’d like to try BBQ instead sometimes.

OMG, WAS I FULL. Thet should have a nap room, lol. Food is amazing, you ask for more… they bring it. Fair price and good time with friends.
Eat what you take, there is a charge if you waste food. We ate everything, but a heads up. No Reservations, arrive early, it gets packed!! Save room for ice cream!!

I love this place! I come here at least once a month. The food is always fresh. The spicy broth is my favorite. I never have bad experience.

This place is great. Did a mixture of the hot pot and KBBQ. Make sure whatever you order you eat. Tons of different options to choose from. Find someone that loves to cook if you choose the BBQ make sure someone likes to cook. At the end there is an ice cream bar that def needs to be checked out. Super fun activity with a group. It’s BYOB.

This is our jam. We go every week. Super kid friendly. Service is super efficient. Food is plentiful. It’s always fun. Interactive and great for groups. We love it as much the 100th visit as we did the first time. Staff is attentive and engaging.

They genuinely looked so annoyed while taking our order and we felt very rushed. They do this on purpose by not providing a paper menu to write our order on like at other hotpot/bbq places, or even a tablet to order from. So you feel rushed and not order as much. Then they brought the wrong order even though I said what I wanted multiple times. And when they came to change the bbq hot plate, they slammed it so hard and left, we were both shocked and it hurt our ears.
Then at the end they have the nerve to complain about how much tip we left with an innocent tone “service not good?”… yikes. Like, no, service actually wasn’t that good but also tips are 100% optional. It’s sad that the owner does not pay them a decent living wage to where they have to depend on pressuring people for tips even though they don’t exactly deserve it. We should not be forced to pay for someone’s salary if we are not their employer.
& it’s already expensive as it is. We don’t go there everyday, it’s a treat and if you can afford to pay a lot of tips, good for you. Not everyone can justify throwing money like that. Tip culture is so toxic sometimes. Restaurant owners, do better. 3 stars because we still enjoyed our meal & ice cream, though shrimp dumplings are a risk, many times they’ve tasted expired.

I love their food. It is such an interesting experience to go to. When I first went, I did not know we had to cook our own food. It really was amazing to have a variety of food, sauces, and they have an ice cream bar too. It’s a must and an experience you won’t forget.

Great place for all you can eat hot pot or BBQ with reasonable price. Ingredients are served fast. There are lot of good choices and the food are fresh. There are ice cream and sweet soup as desserts . The only down side is the smell from the BBQ tables can be quite strong, suggest to keep your jacket/coat in your car.
