We hosted an engagement celebration here tonight and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly accommodating, and having the owner, Adam, present and involved made the experience feel extra special. You can tell this place is run with real pride and passion.
The space itself is stunning — rich with history (we were told it was once Charlie Chaplin’s studio and later a library), and you feel that character everywhere you look. Books line the walls, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting.
The staff was attentive, kind, and on top of everything all evening, and the food was fantastic. And if you love wine, you are in very good hands — their knowledge and selection are outstanding.
Beautiful venue, wonderful people, unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special night.

This hidden little nook oozes sophistication and cozy welcoming vibes with an underlying quirky element that was both delightful and surprising. They have some interesting and delicious wines that aren’t your typical run-of-the-mill offerings, Including one of my favorite Lambrusco Grasparossas the Zanasi. I would definitely recommend this spot and I look forward to coming back and trying more of their menu.

I love a good wine bar and love that West Hollywood has one, however, manage your expectations with this place. Their happy hour wines for $10 are cheap, bad tasting $15 bottles you can have delivered from DoorDash (Red Block, Donny Boone) and their pizza is previously frozen and reheated in microwave oven. The first one came out with mold. They reheated a second for us. We’ll be driving a bit further for a wine bar that actually serves good food and wine during a happy hour. Shame.

Family suggested this wine bar while I was visiting. Super lived-in with low lights, tasteful holiday decor, cozy and quiet. Service was sweet but relaxed, wine list solid with some nice picks—could use a bit more variety or fresher options. Nearly empty, so it felt calm and low-key. Cute spot overall.

V is a space I’ve been frequenting for years and can enjoy solo or with friends. The vibe can range from chill to energetic which can be unpredictable at times, but it is such a nice respite from other West Hollywood scenes. I happened to be there the same time a recent reviewer was (Ms. England and friend) and want to attest that they were rude and clearly hard to please. What they thought was mold was determined to be a burn mark on the pizza crust but staff remade it for them anyway. Most of the staff has worked there for years (speaks volumes to the heart of this place) and care too much to ever serve compromised food. A nearly $10k pizza oven is also not a “microwave oven”. I don’t know what Donny Boon is but V does offer Bonny Doon wines exclusively for happy hour and I’m not sure what else you expect for $10 in LA. The fact that V even offers happy hour options at all is a breath of fresh air in any wine scene, and that’s all these 20-somethings were looking for. They didn’t even consider the main menu with its extensive wine offerings. I’m a small business owner myself and misinformed reviews like this are so disheartening in the face of all the hard work that goes into things. Keep up the good work, V!

My friends and I love coming to V Wine Room! We got a bottle of their Red Zinfandel and it was delicious. We also tried the cheese plate- the perfect pairing! We sat at the bar and Ross was super helpful in finding the right wine for us. We will be back!

Russ & Randy are the absolute best. Any time my boyfriend and I are here to have a glass of wine and wind down, they’re attentive, kind, and always a pleasure. Come through and ask for them! Xoxo

Rather loud but diverse wine selection. We have been here several times and this is the busiest we have experienced. We usually visit mid-day, so the evening vibe was popping.

Quaint little spot in a residential setting. Was at one time Charlie Chaplan’s studio. Bartender was super fun and charming. Woodfired pizza was delicious. Atmosphere felt very familial. First time trying orange wine…had never heard of it before! Monday through Friday (Saturday?) you can order food from the amazing sushi restaurant that is just around the corner. Loved this place!!
