I go here every month for the chicken parm with linguine it’s chef kiss they never disappoint they give youu a nice Italian bread always hot never ever ever stingy with mozzarella they always give me a lot !!! Stepping into this restaurant really throws you into the American – Italian classics. A generous menu with all the classics. There are vegetarian options and while there isn’t a kids menu: a fair selection of pizza, pasta shapes and sauces is guaranteed to keep them engaged. Finish off with classic Italian sweets and a decent espresso, then head out for a walk along the Hudson River. The service was very accommodating and friendly, moderate to high prices.

Been going here since 1980.Real ,old school ,red sauce Italian restaurant. Complete with red and white checkered table clothes,a super comfortable room with excellent service, and fantastic food.The eggplant parm is 6 stars,salads ,pastas ,and everything else I’ve had or seen is great.Huge portions.I LOVE this place,don’t live on the upper west side anymore ; I make it my business to bring people here when I can; or take a tray of eggplant parm home.

Exceptional from start to finish — the Chicken Francaise was moist and tender and the lemon sauce beautifully complemented the dish. The penne was perfectly al dente serve with a moist chicken and broccoli rabe. We started with the caprese salad that we were able to dress ourselves with fresh olive oil and balsamic. Drinks were delicious and I had a very generous pour of an excellent Pignot Grigio served nice and cold. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was old supper club elegant.

Unfortunately, the meat was quite thin, and the batter was overly thick, overpowering the delicate flavor of the calamari itself.
As for the pizza, it was decent but not particularly memorable. The crust had a nice texture, but the overall flavor profile didn’t stand out.
While the experience wasn’t bad, it also didn’t wow me. If you’re in the area and craving Italian, it might be worth a visit, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Celebrating and enjoying quality time with my mother. We had lunch here after a home-going celebration for one of our dear loved ones. So a hearty Italian meal was best for the job. V & T did not disappoint! Flavor was robust and the cheeses blended together like the beautiful dynamic harmony of your favorite love song. Can’t wait to go back!

Great find during our trip to New York and area late last year! Place felt authentic and food was excellent. This is near the big cathedral, a great place for lunch & dinner – we both ordered pizza – crust was thin and light, sauce had a nice tang and robust tomato flavor. Service was good, we knew it would take a while for pizza and had no issue – however it was not long to wait. Would go back next time in New York.
