We entered the place with a very welcoming and accommodating staff. Me and my husband ended dining at the bar since it was a happy hour. Deana (our server) was very bubbly, easy to talk to and makes you very welcome. We ended up getting to try the chicken wings as one of the staff at the front was very convincing in to trying it (sorry we forgot her name) she was also very nice. Food is freshly made and its very good. Worth your time and money. Thank you to deana for giving a free dessert (tiramisu) and for making a consistent drink. We will definitely come back again to try other menu.
P.s Thank you for the little note/greeting on the receipt
We came in on Tuesday, the day before New Year’s Eve, a little before 6 — perfect timing because it got packed right after.
We ordered three pies: Pepperoni, Margherita, and Picante. All were fantastic and came out fast. The Picante had a great kick to it — nice and spicy, just how I like it!
Happy hour was awesome too. We’ll definitely be back!
From the moment we arrived, Kelsey greeted us with a genuinely positive and welcoming attitude. She asked if it was our first visit, and when we said yes, she took the time to thoroughly explain the ordering process and offered to answer any questions or accommodate dietary needs. That level of attentiveness made the experience feel thoughtful and personal.
The entire team did an outstanding job and was friendly and engaging with every guest who walked through the door. A big thank you to Angie, Jess, and Kelsey for delivering great service and making our visit memorable.
Hawaiian wings and Margarita pizza with added pineapple were to die for!
We went with a DIY Pepperoni, Ham and marinated black olives selection (all pizzas are one size – 13″), baked in the real deal wood burning ovens. Although we’re not drinkers, the place also has a full bar/pub-environ in the back area… kinda small, but looked quaint and friendly (thus the “& Tap Room” part of the name).
Our server came by our table at least 3-4 times before our pizza even came out. James is quite a character, and puts out a fantastic, fun, friendly energy, that makes you want to hang out and chat with him – definitely made our experience just that – a positive experience, while waiting for our pizza, and throughout our meal – James is a 10!!
Our pizza came and looked and smelled amazing!! Although when we ordered, they told us we could have our pizza the way it comes out… “soft” vs. ordering “crispier” if we wanted – went definitely went for crispier. I have to say, I did not find the pizza “crispy” at all… in fact, everything but the crust, which was cooked extra well, but tasted more a bit overcooked or burnt some, even though I asked and specified when ordering – we’d prefer crispy crust, but not if it means it will be burnt. So the 1 star deduction issue for very soggy, wet, mushy crust (excepting the edge of the crust which was good, but a bit overcooked).
Pepperoni puts out a lot of grease, but ham and olives generally not, so maybe it’s the type of cheese they use, in combination with the pep, that made it instantly soggy? Regardless, the flavor was fantastic!! Excellent, light, fresh tomatoey sauce, and the pep and ham were great flavor and spice. It was the marinated black olives that were the real surprise – we like black olives, but were concerned about marinated olives, which they said were in seasoned olive oil – they were amazing, and add SO much to the flavor profile. Honestly, the excellent flavor and fresh toppings almost made us forget about the inner 3/4 of our pizza being so soggy that we had to use forks to eat until we got closer to the crust.
We also tried the delicious gelattos!! Excellent texture, flavor and zest… SO good!!! A great way to finish off a very flavorful pizza, in a friendly, upbeat, bright lights environment.
We visited V Pizza & Tap Room – Lake Buena Vista as a family of seven, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely fantastic.
First, a huge thank you to Sihara and Kelsey — their service was truly outstanding. They were kind, attentive, patient with our kids, and genuinely made us feel welcome. You can tell when people really care about what they do, and they absolutely do.
Now, the food… wow.
We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Carnivore pizza, and both were exquisite. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The crust was just right, the cheese was incredible, and nothing was burnt — just pizza done the right way.
And of course, here’s what matters most: the kids’ reviews
• “The pizza was super, super, super mega good!”
• “It was very cheesy and very good.”
• “They were very kind.”
• “The gelato was really good.”
• “I loved the pizza. Super cheesy and it wasn’t burnt at all.”
When you have kids and everyone is happy — that says everything.
If you’re visiting Lake Buena Vista and want delicious pizza, excellent service, and a place that truly welcomes families, this is the spot. We will absolutely be coming back and recommending it to friends and other families.
Thank you again to Sihara andKelsey, and the whole team for such a wonderful experience!
