Kind staff, consistently delicious food and an environment that encourages you to slow down and take it all in. A great place to put your phone down and reap the benefits of a savory bone broth before continuing on with your day.
Extensive menu, open morning till late at night, and a great place to pop by for a comforting bite to eat.
Parking lot access via the alley, same spot as dominos and the little book store.
If there’s one thing I’d love to see improved, it’s the atmosphere. A small update to the space would make the dining experience even better. But honestly, the quality of the food keeps us coming back regardless.
Absolutely recommend it!
Good place to go alone or with a small group.
Only negative is that they have only one bathroom so you might end up stuck waiting quite awhile to use it
Food: 3/5 – a decent menu with a good variety of selections. I had their combo special with grilled port on vermicelli noodles with a salad roll. The portion was big. There are some vegetarian options.
Service: 4/5 – service was decent. Nothing out of the extraordinary.
Atmosphere: 3/5 – place is dated but clean. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available.
The dessert was a first time try 10/10 like a caramel egg pudding
One standout feature of V Nam Restaurant is the generous portion sizes they offer. You certainly won’t leave hungry, and the best part is that it comes at a reasonable price. It’s a budget-friendly option for those looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
The flavors of the dishes at V Nam are bold and packed with Vietnamese goodness. While some might find it more intense than expected, I personally enjoyed the flavorful experience. The authenticity of the taste is evident, and it adds to the overall charm of this restaurant.
The lady working there in particular does not know how to speak to customers or drivers professionally. We represent your business when delivering food, and being treated poorly for simply doing our job is unacceptable.
What’s even more frustrating is that Uber Eats drivers don’t have the option to rate restaurants on the app. If I had the choice, I would avoid accepting orders from this place altogether.
A little basic courtesy and professionalism would go a long way. Unfortunately, these experiences completely ruin the mood and make the job harder than it needs to be.
I was expecting the normal noodles but these came too thik. Taste was okay but were very oily. Too much noodles and less veggies and sprouts! Maybe they should also add pictures for each dish so that we can see and order.
Another thing is, no option to add spice level nor option to add/less veggies. No customization on Uber orders.
Might not eat again. Thanks!
