There’s a special place in my heart for local diners. V Cafe serves burgers, cheese steaks, sandwiches and salads. Missing are brunch egg dishes, French toast, milkshakes, pancakes and waffles. My bacon cheeseburger w/garlic fries $16.50 was OK. It was a 1/3 pound patty, kind of dry. The meat was cooked correctly. There wasn’t enough garlic taste in the garlic fries. Service was OK for an order at the counter establishment. The kitchen was fast.

The salad was kinda bland. The fish from the fish and chips that I got had a nice crust but it seems like they used tilapia or something because it didn’t really taste that great. Liked the portion sizes tho

Been here multiple times. Solid burger and cheese steaks place. Best part is that they have waffle fries and onion rings.
Today, I ordered their NY steak sandwich with fries deal for $20. Steak was super soft and easy to bite without using the knife.
Love that they have a bunch of hot sauce options at their condiment bar.

Disgusting. Can’t believe they would serve expired and moldy edamames to their customers?? Absolutely horrible poke bowl as well, ordered yum yum sauce but got ranch instead. 0 stars, highly would not recommend this place especially for the price!

Pleasantly greeted, quickly served, and I definitely enjoyed the cheesesteak I ordered. Great placement too; just a block away from the Foundry! Highly recommend for drunken nights, since they’re open so late and the food served is that perfect greasy type. They do have salads and whatnot too, in case you want that.

If you are veg: this is NOT the place for you. The only vegitarian meal options on the menu is a hot or cold veggie sandwhich, which contains lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, carrots, olives, celery, avocado, and vinaigrette dressing on a bagette roll (cold sandwich also has mayo and mustard, hot sandwhich has melted cheese, pictured). As far as I know they do not have a veggie burger patty.
Beyond that, their waffle-cut fries are pretty good, and I’m sure their meat options are up to par, but their veg options have not been thought out.
