Social Profile:

We have been serving delectable Eastern European cuisine for over 25 years. Established in 1993 at our first location in Forest Hills New York and then opened our doors in Philadelphia 2006. At our Bustleton location you will discover a charming and rustic interior that captures the essences of Uzbekistan. The spacious front patio is surrounded by beautiful growing grape vines. In the winter the patio gets enclosed and heated so our customers can enjoy the space all year round. Additionally we have a marvelous garden courtyard in the back where you can catch the most beautiful sunsets during your dinner and enjoy some lively music.

Refined, white-tablecloth space for exotic Russian & Central Asian cuisine in old-world environs.

I ordered food via GrubHub but the restaurant suddenly refunded most of my order (3/4 of the order) without giving a reason. I asked when I picked up the remaining food about why the food was cancelled, but they refused to give me an answer and only said I could try for “something else”. Food was good according to my father and was good last time we got it, but not likely to order again due to suddenly cancelling parts of orders without any reason. I had to wait a while to get the attention with no one up front to greet me; had to walk back to find them and then wait a while to get someone to get my order. The place was clean, well lit inside and seemed nice.

Great Uzbekistan food! Even for the picky Asian stomach.

Samsa, lamb chops, steak are my favorite.

Their service is also friendly and kind!

Wow did we enjoy it!! Still trying to figure out what exactly is Uzbek food though.
The portions are priced great to their size so feel free to go crazy and order a variety.
That’s our recommendation and don’t forget the green tea. Great experience and the place is really cool looking

Absolutely delicious
I highly recommend the Olivie and the shish kabobs — outstanding flavors. (I added a bit more salt to the Olivie, but that’s just my personal preference.)

Tea tip: If you order a pot, let it steep for about 4 minutes before pouring — it really brings out the full flavor.

I came here for dinner for my friends bridal shower and we had a great time! I love the interior / outside area, very beautiful.

The food here is absolutely amazing and very delicious! We tried various appetizers and entrees and everything was so good! You can’t go wrong with what you order. I highly recommend the cheese or spinach appetizer, the meat skewers, and the flat garlic potatoe fries!

My favorite place in the northeast by far. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel like you’ve stepped into Uzbekistan. The food is incredible—freshly baked bread, flavorful kebabs, and the plov was outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care.

Service was just as impressive. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Philly.

Whenever I’m in Philadelphia, I often stop by this place to eat. The food is tasty, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. The service can be a bit unusual — maybe that’s just how it is in Philly: make sure to tell them if you need separate checks, and note that there’s a 2–3% fee for card payments.
If you’re looking for good food, I definitely recommend it! Sometimes not every dish is available, but there’s always a good alternative. Haven’t found a better place yet — maybe someone will improve the service one day
Enjoy your meal
