We recently hosted our company holiday party at Uva Next Door, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the initial planning with Jane to the flawless execution the night of, every detail was handled with care and professionalism.
The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire staff was warm, attentive, and truly accommodating — so much so that our guests couldn’t stop complimenting them! The restaurant looked beautifully festive and created the perfect holiday atmosphere.
If you’re considering an event, don’t hesitate — Uva Next Door is a fantastic choice. And if not for a party, definitely stop in for a delicious dinner. They never disappoint!

came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint. everything was absolutely incredible and the service was so friendly and quick. I got the truffle gnocchi which was filling and SOOO tasty. love that they give pretty big portions here unlike a lot of other Italian places that give like 4 pieces of ravioli. eggplant and ricotta app was also a hit and mango sorbet was perfect way to end it.

This is a wonderful date spot. The atmosphere is really wonderful and the music is not overpowering. It’s good enough to have a conversation. The Martini Monday deal is really a nice treat. It’s $4 Martinis with the purchase of food. I’ll definitely be back. It’s vegan and gluten free friendly.

I haven’t been to UVA yet, so this was my first introduction. Overall, it was a good experience, but maybe not quite living up to the hype.
The atmosphere: Inside, the design is very cool, except it is deafening. We sat outside in the cabana, and it was surprisingly more private than I thought. The only negative is that the tables are so small. For three people, there was barely enough space for all of our plates.
The staff: all of the staff we encountered were very kind. Our server was helpful, but I think she had the entire outside to herself, so sometimes she would go missing.
The food: I thought the pasta had lots of flavor. Unfortunately, my filled pasta was a bit overcooked and lost some texture.

In addition to being dinner regulars at Uva Next Door, we recently hosted a private event on a Saturday afternoon and it was an incredible experience!! The entire staff was so helpful, both in planning and execution of the event. The space was beautifully set up and they were very easy to work with on decorations, music, menus, etc. Our guests had an excellent time, the food was incredible, and the bar was open with their unique cocktail menu available! Highly recommend hosting an event at Uva Next Door!!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Through the bar is a quiet little covered patio that is reminiscent of a place in Tuscany. Food was exceptional and staff was kind and very attentive! Will come back any time we visit NY!
