A good first experience nearly two weeks after the opening. Some chance for improvement, so I’m hopeful:
The beer was delicious. I had the dark, which had a solid flavor – slightly dry, nice and dark, good notes of cocoa and coffee. $3 for 12 oz was a fair price.
For food, I got the two meat combo plate. I was slightly disappointed, as most everything was cold. The BBQ pork had great flavor, but it felt as if it came out of the refrigerator. The barbecue sauce options were delicious. The fried catfish was spot on and wonderful! Besides of beans and mac & cheese were also decent, but again both were cold. The cheesy biscuit that accompanied the plate was very good.
Make a visit. It is a unique setup, and I am hopeful that some of the things will improve as they develop their experience.

We went here for lunch. Everything–service, food, cleanliness was okay. I ordered the Uturn salad with pulled pork. My husband ordered the beef brisket sandwich with potato salad. The salad was a basic salad. Chopped romaine and iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon, cheese and craisins. Pork was tasty. The biscuit was very dry and bland despite looking like it was supposed to be cheese and jalapeno. The beef brisket sandwich was good. Potato salad needed seasoning especially salt and pepper. At the end of the day, we spent $30 on lunch and don’t feel like we got that much value from it.

I’ve driven by here a few times and decided to stop in for lunch today. I’m glad I did! Excellent experience. The staff working were all extremely friendly. The brisket was delicious! Atmosphere was nice. All around a good experience. I’m moving to the Lafayette/Erie area, so I’ll definitely be back!

The only BBQ around that makes me crave for more. The brisket was flavored to perfection, presented nicely and melts in your mouth. The ribs were equally delicious. Non-pretencious food in a gorgeous environment!

The food was wonderful. Had the pulled pork, potato salad (unique spicy flavor) and mac & cheese. They are a scratch kitchen so everything is made fresh which probably explains the good flavors. They also brew beer on site and serve mixed drinks. Would definetly recommend.

Wow! Great BBQ in my backyard. Cheap simple micro brewed deliciousness. Drive thru BBQ & simple American beer. Don’t expect that hipster crap here.

Great BBQ – and a good beer selection. Their pulled pork was certainly our favorite. They do a good lunch menu – and on Thursdays they do 6 packs to go for $6 – you can’t beat that anymore. Would highly recommend. Pretty great decor and environment too. You’d never guess that this place was a Burger King a few years ago.
