I had an okayish experience.

The ambience of the place is actually pretty good. It is a very spacious restaurant with a lot of seating, which makes it comfortable if you are going with family or friends. One thing I really liked is that they also have a section with Indian groceries and other Indian food items available for purchase. It is nice to see a place where you can both dine and also pick up some Indian essentials.

Coming to the food, it was okayish. I tried idly and puri. They were decent but nothing very special in terms of taste. It was fine for a quick meal but not something that really stood out.

The tea, however, was really good. It had a nice flavor and felt very refreshing, especially after the meal.

Overall, the place has a nice ambience and a good concept with the grocery section, but the food could be a little better. Still a decent place to visit if you are nearby.

Had a wonderful lunch at Utsav Restaurant! We ordered Mutton Marag, Chicken Garlic Prawns, Haryali Kabab, Hakka Noodles, and Chicken Fried Rice, and every dish was flavorful and well-prepared.
Overall, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the experience was very satisfying. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving flavorful Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes. Looking forward to visiting again!

We came here and the evening and had chicken tikka pizza.
The pizza was very good, the base was light and toppings and sauce was excellent.

The schezwan noodles had a Thai sauce which was not Soo good. The noodles was thick and did not taste like indian noodles.

Pizza 5/5
Noodles 1.5/5

Love the more Indian restaurants and vegetarian choices in Charlotte. Especially it is towards more center city. Better place for gathering for friends from north and south Charlotte. It is also convenient because a grocery store and fast food place under same roof as the restaurant. Has a banquet hall as well. First time we went there we loved food. Ordered some of same food taking our friends there, some paneer item were so hard. The service was very sluggish and confused.

I recently visited Utsav Food Central in December, and it’s one of the best Indian restaurants in Charlotte. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We tried both mix of North & South Indian dishes and everything tasted authentic. The space feels modern and family friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. If you’re looking for great Indian food in Charlotte, NC, this place is worth the visit.

First time here, I tried the Goat Haleem and Chicken Shawarma, and honestly, they weren’t the best. The Haleem was too dry, and the Shawarma was just okay. But I’ve heard other things on the menu are good, so maybe I just wasn’t lucky this time!

Clean, organized but lacked pricing on some items. They are new and need to work out some things, but may visit next year to see if the checkout process has improved. Overall, well stocked and organized. The food hall was still working on some finishing touches. The food menu had alot of choices. I got a noodle combination, it was good. It was lightly seasoned. No bottle water, but had a water cooler/fountain for water(???) There will be a bar in the future.

Really enjoyed the chicken tikka bowl. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the rice was cooked well. The fresh veggies, sprouts, chickpeas, and cucumbers added a nice balance, and the toppings like jalapeños and feta worked great with the dish. Good portion size and everything tasted fresh. I’d definitely order this again.

I recently visited Utsav, and I was blown away by how impressive it is! The space is bright, clean, and modern, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s an amazing variety of food options from breakfast items to curries to biryanis and even Indian pizzas. I tried stuffed mirchi bajji and Hyderabadi samosa and both were very delicious.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and even during busy hours, service was quick and well organized. I also appreciated how spotless everything was tables were cleaned promptly, and the overall vibe felt very welcoming.

A Must-Try Spot for Flavor and Atmosphere!

I had an amazing experience at Utsav Restaurant! The Step up
cocktail was a standout, vibrant, refreshing, and beautifully garnished with mint and lime. It was the perfect start to the evening.

The salad bowl was packed with fresh ingredients ,crisp lettuce, beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and a scoop of sour cream with a flavorful chili-style topping. It was colorful, hearty, and satisfying.

The chicken shawarma wrap was delicious, tender, well, seasoned chicken wrapped in a soft tortilla, served with a fresh side salad and creamy dip. Every bite was full of flavor.

The ambiance is modern and lively, with a stylish bar and warm lighting that makes the whole experience feel upscale yet cozy. Great service, great food, highly recommend!
