USA Family Restaurant in Grant Park is more than just a place to eat—it’s truly a local institution.
Their food is consistently fresh and delicious; their lemon rice soup and incredible fresh-baked rolls are a special treat that can’t be missed! They offer such a wide variety of dishes that, no matter what you’re craving, you’ll find something perfect on the menu.
The service is always exceptional and friendly. Many of the staff members have been there for years, always greeting you with a smile and remaining attentive throughout your meal. Both kids and adults alike will love the charming décor, especially the model tractors lining the entire upper wall of the restaurant.

First time here. It’s a nice and cozy place. Our server was very nice and good. The food was very good and HUGE portions for a reasonable price. The menu has a diverse meals. They also have a private room for parties.

I ended up here by mistake after asking Google for a halal restaurant—this one doesn’t serve halal meat. Still, I was pleasantly surprised! There are plenty of fish-based options, the food was excellent, and the cook, Mr. George, is truly a chef. I enjoyed a full meal at a very affordable price and a really friendly and family atmosphere! Looking forward to the day the wind brings me back this way!

I have passed this restaurant so many times driving through Grant Park. Today was the first time we stopped in for a bite to eat and let me tell you I am so glad we did. I got the southwest chicken sandwich with coleslaw. The veggies on the Sandwich were so fresh even after being grilled. The chicken was juicy. Now the coleslaw stole the show for me. It was absolutely delicious. The other pictures are of the beef tips with mushrooms and onions on top of noodles. My mom said it was fantastic. The 3rd one is of the steak fajitas on rice. My sister said the sauce was so good. So if you are ever in the area or just passing through definitely stop at this little restaurant. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly. It looks small but there is plenty of room inside. Large menu so everyone should be able to find something they like. Our food was out quick as well.

We visited this restaurant with different expectations, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match what we had hoped for. The service was friendly and attentive, which we truly appreciated. The decor, however, was quite simple and didn’t really stand out.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The cod was too salty for our taste, and the pork was somewhat bland. The chicken liver and the skillet were decent, though—not amazing, but enjoyable. One thing we didn’t enjoy at all was the coffee; the flavor just didn’t sit right.
Overall, while it wasn’t a terrible visit, the food didn’t meet our expectations, and we left feeling a bit underwhelmed. With a few improvements, it could be much better.
