This was my third Urth Caffé in the city, and at this point it’s honestly turning into a routine. Same order every time for a reason — Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. I know what I’m getting. Or at least I usually do.

This visit was good… but not perfect.

The food overall was excellent, as expected. The salmon was solid, eggs cooked right, sauce on point. No complaints there. The only miss was the bread — something felt off this time. Not terrible, just not at the level I’m used to from Urth. Small detail, but noticeable when you’ve had the same dish multiple times.

Now the real challenge: parking.
Downtown LA did what downtown LA always does. Finding free parking near this location was almost impossible. I spent about 15 minutes circling before giving up and paying $5 for a paid lot. Not Urth’s fault, but it’s part of the experience here, so worth mentioning if you’re planning a visit.

Despite that, I’ll say this — I’ll still keep coming back. Urth Caffé remains one of my go-to breakfast spots, and even with a minor miss this time, the quality and consistency are still there.

If you’re downtown and craving a proper breakfast, this place is still a safe bet.
Just plan ahead for parking — or be ready to pay.

Felt like a late bloomer, but I finally experienced Urth Cafe for the first time today ‍ I can understand what makes it “overrated” lol. The drinks were excellent; the Spanish latte is that of my dreams.

But for food, we ordered the Tasty Panini, and the Tortilla soup – which our cashier Sesinando A described as being “basically just soup with avocado in it” – almost deterred us from ordering it all together. He was also rude, and suuuper unhelpful. I think if he had been more informative we might have ordered something that was delicious being first timers, but overall it was just lacking.

Loved the drinks, the pastries looked amazing, but the food was mediocre at best.

We had a great first time experience. Coffee and breads were delicious. They have so many options that they’ll have something for everyone. Restrooms were clean. Welcoming vibe from the atmosphere to the people. Will definitely come back. Especially for the breakfast.

Tasty egg panini was great. Exactly what I needed and filling for hours. I’ve had way better matcha latte, wouldn’t get it again here.

It was kinda late when I came to eat out here but I heard it gets really busy. Not a lot of people out here.
Food was great, the coffee was great. Definitely coming back here to try other options. Menu has a lot of options!

Is a very nice place to spend time with your loved ones, is cozy, and the atmosphere is great, my only down point is that you have to make the line every time you want to order something. Make sure you know what do you want to eat and for dessert so you can order all at ones.

Idk his name , but it looks like he does the night shift . But a Filipino man . He has a spirit of a good heart. Idk if he’s a manager. But I’ve been coming for a few days in a row and asking for hot water .its been little chilly. But he sure does deserve a raise . Doesn’t have to be manager , but maybe more in pay. He already knew my hot water order and he saw me and gave it to me. Such a sweetheart.

My girls said it’s “MUST-GO” place in La.
We ended up going there two consecutive days! So many menu options and great food.
We loved pizza, matcha latte, green smoothie, cheese danish and croissant donut.
We came back with my friends and had a wonderful time here.

Line is long but they move fast and the food runner will bring the food to your table.
Very well run establishment with beautiful ambiance great food.

Food was so bomb, a little too pricey but so worth it. The people are so nice and welcoming. I tried the Pizza El Diablo and it was really good if you like spicy food. It had a nice kick to it from the jalapeños and sauce but the cheese and chicken balanced it out really well. For my drink I got the Strawberry Boba Affogato and it was sweet. The creamy ice cream with fresh strawberries and chewy boba made it a perfect way to finish the meal. Afterwards, I did not feel full which was nice. I will definitely be coming back here.
