Urgies in Bridgewater. Outdoor Ice State pavillion in winter used for more seating in summer. Fun dining atmosphere, Rock radio music. Shade or Sun tables outdoor only (until reopened inside) Roller skating waitress. Not only Cheeseteaks n Fries with whiz’ but a vegetarian option Cheese “Nosteak” for the non meat eaters. Serves ice cold beer or Sangria too. Relaxed, wonderful service, and good prices. Our area doesn’t have the authentic Philly food, and Urgies does a nice job! However…for East Coast Hoagie/Cheeseteak die hards- this isn’t going to be the same. Remember they have to order the rolls from up there. Wink. Owner did a great job with extras on the menu like Perogies, Parmesian garlic dusted fries, and add on’s. Always friendly, and clean in both locations: Harrisonburg and Bridgewater. Have a good time at Urgies.

Cheese steak was excellent. Service was a bit slow, but the food was worth it.
My wife ordered a burger with fries, but the waiter accidentally entered it as another cheese steak, so since she asked for fries which come with the burger, but not the cheese steak, that entered in as an additional order of fries.
Since this place takes its time to make the food properly, it was a fairly long time before the waiter showed up with two cheese steaks instead of a steak and a burger. My wife really wanted a burger, so they were very nice and apologetic, took the extra steak back and ordered a new burger.
The problem was that now, I had my food which would have started to cool by the time she got her burger, so I started to eat it. Good thing I did, because that burger also took a very long time. I had finished by the time the burger arrived, so she took a few bites and asked for a to go box which they promptly brought out.
Upon paying, I saw that we had been charged for two steaks and an extra order of fries. I pointed that out, and the person taking payment very graciously took both the fries and the second sandwich off of the bill for our trouble.
I would have given 5 stars except for the mistake, but the staff did handle it well, so I’ll give them four stars. I’ll upgrade it if everything goes well the next time we come back.

1st time ever eating at Urgies. Super nice people that I interacted with on phone and at pickup. The steak sub was AMAZING! Love the WIZ! My only issues is the price of fries and tots, well not the price but the amount you get for 4.25. It was like a small happy meal fry. And things missing from my order…order of fries and a couple side sauces. But regardless I definitely will visit again but think I’d rather go in than do take out again.

Stopped in for lunch today and I can’t wait to be back in the area to return! The restaurant was very clean, a warm inviting vibe, extremely friendly waitress. Food was delivered in a timely fashion; everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The owner personally asking you how the food is was a welcome change of pace. I put it at the top of best cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten, it’s as good as Geno’s. The garlic parmesan fries were incredible as well!

This was out first time there and it was pretty good. We got a basket of fries which was very good. My wife and I got cheesesteaks with provolone. I think next time I will get extra cheese. They also have them “wit wiz”. Plenty of other options with burgers and wings. We were the first ones through the door on Sunday morning around 10.

My husband and I visited Urgies this evening. While the fries were pretty good, we found the burger and cheesesteak underwhelming. The burger was cooked well, but not seasoned at all. The cheesesteak was disappointing also. I ordered lettuce, tomato and mayo. There was a few pieces of diced tomato, a couple small leaves of lettuce, and I’m really not sure if there was mayo on it or not…undetectable. The service was rather poor, long wait for food, and waiter didn’t really seem interested in his job. At any rate, we tried it. Sorry, but not going back anytime soon.

We waited 45 min for our food. The food was good, and the service was ok. Our waitress was kind but only checked on us a few times. I was absolutely horrified when I got home and discovered that my brand new black pants were bleached from the cleaning products used to clean the chairs. We could smell it when we were sitting but had no idea it was bleach!

The worst service we have ever had. Waited over 1/2 hour for sandwiches? And bother was raw. Ordered coffee, never got it, had to ask for it. Didn’t get order of fries we ordered with meal. Waited for them, got them by time we were done with sandwiches, and were swimming in grease on bottom of basket. Steak sandwiches were dry and bland. So disappointing on every level!!!

Wow, i have never been to the Harrisburg urgies but the one in bridgwater is not great. Long wait for food, didnt get half our food, had to wave our waitress over to get the first drink refill never got any more or the tea i asked to take with me. Long story short this restaurant obviously lacks managment and training, No aparent concern for the coustomers or the enjoyment of their time in the restaurant. The food was bland and bearly even warm aswell as poor portioned for the price. I have tried to eat here 3 seperate times and this last time was the first time i even got food. Unfortunately that didnt even make it worthwhile. I did speak to someone about my mixed drink which tasted like rubbing alcohol the first time but upon remake it was properly garnished and tasted great! Probly the only reason id give a second star but the other variables are to negative and it honestly is hard to believe there is a good version of this restaurant in the burg.
