The only downside is that it can get quite loud, especially during peak hours, which might make conversation a bit challenging if you’re looking for a quieter dining experience. However, the lively atmosphere also adds to the energy of the place, making it feel vibrant and social.
Overall, Urban Village is a solid choice if you’re looking for tasty food in a lively and welcoming setting. It’s definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy dining in a vibrant environment with great flavors.
Food and service was a 4/10 and I love Indian food, check out the runny, diarrhea-looking slop they tried to serve as my meal.
We ordered the festival special Veg Thali, naan, paneer items, soda,Gobi 65,Mirchi Bajji, kulfi and other items.
In the Veg Thali, only the pulav rice and yogurt were good. The rest of the items were disappointing. The white rice was not cooked properly, the dessert was not fresh and the vada was very poor, likely because the cooking oil in the fryer had not been changed.
The Gobi 65 was not good and the fountain soda had a bleaching smell. The serving staff later replaced it with canned soda, which we appreciated.
The kulfi was served in a small 4 oz cup–style portion. In my personal opinion, serving ready-made kulfi would be better, as presentation is very important in the food industry.
I would recommend reducing the menu and focusing on fewer items that are freshly prepared, as freshness makes a big difference in taste and quality.
I looked for the manager/owner after receiving the food, but they were not available at that time. If the manager had been present, I would have requested them to taste the food themselves and share their opinion.
Overall, everyone in our group was unhappy with the taste and we felt the food was not worth the price.
However, I would like to mention that the serving staff were polite and helpful, and their service was good.
We also tried the kale fry and corn soup, both of which were outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I highly recommend these dishes to anyone visiting the restaurant.
One of the highlights was the cauliflower Manchurian dry, which my daughter, who is typically a picky eater, absolutely loved the dish.
The ambiance of the restaurant was excellent, and the service provided by the waiters was top-notch.
One of the best aspects of Urban Village Grill is their thoughtful touch for families with kids. They provided coloring paper and crayons to engage the children, and after the kids completed their drawings, the restaurant displayed them on the wall as a memory. This idea was fantastic, and it brought so much joy to the children, knowing their artwork was proudly showcased. Seeing their work on the wall during future visits will undoubtedly make the kids very happy.
To finish off our meal, we tried their homemade kulfi ice cream. Despite it being December, we couldn’t resist trying it, and it was worth every bite. The kulfi was fresh, creamy, and the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, Urban Village Grill offers a diverse and delicious menu with excellent service. If you’re in the area, it’s a must-visit for a memorable culinary experience.
