Reviews
The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and it’s become our go-to spot whenever we have a flight. Huge bonus: they deliver up to 25 miles, including Seattle and Bellevue downtown, with free delivery on orders over $50. Highly recommend!
For the food the Dahi puri was amazing and refreshing, Pav Bhaji and Veg. Burger were average dishes. Their Vada Pav is amazing!
I ordered takeout based on the positive reviews here, and had a mixed experience overall.
Aalu tikki Burger – this is good, love the crispy aalu patti and overall burger. The chips was mediocre, it didn’t feel fresh or crispy as you expect from potato chips!
Chicken Masala burger – this isn’t made with Patty but julienned chicken which makes the bun soggy for a take out order. It feels like the same chicken used in the chicken jungli roll.
Chicken jungli roll – while the chicken was spicy and juicy, the roll was seeping of oil in the end.
Chole batura – the baturas were small 3 baturas which were ok but the channa masala had 4 tsp of oil which i had to throw before even I tried to taste.
Chicken biryani – this was a let down, the biryani has a rose water or a different unusual flavor that was making this biryani different than other biryani I have eaten. The chicken wasn’t that tender either. The raita was overpowered with chat masala.
Peri Peri fries were ok, the masala was different than what I have eaten before but the overall fries could have been better.
Overall, the food is decent but each dish seemed to be missing something to make it really shine.
The Nanari Sarbat was the Cherry on top. I’d tried that for the first time in my life.
Lalit and Biswas who work there were quite attentive and nice to chat with. I’ll definitely visit this place whenever I visit SeaTac.
Original review:
As someone who loves authentic Indian street food, I can’t say enough good things about Urban Tapri. The chaat here is an absolute standout—it genuinely tastes like the chaat you would find on the streets of Lucknow, with that perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors. It’s a rare find, and it instantly transports you back to India.
The quality of the food is top-notch, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. What makes it even better are the prices; they are very reasonable for the quality and portion size you get. If you are looking for a taste of true, authentic Indian street food without breaking the bank, Urban Tapri is the place to go.
And it was open till 2am so perfect after a late night movie. Portion was big enough for two. Enjoy!
