This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento fresh ingredients .great customer service in a very calm atmosphere if you’re ever looking for a place where you just wanna get a bite of something that’s not gonna hurt your stomach and make you feel excellent when you leave. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I don’t leave five stars but this is well deserved. The Thai chicken salad is fabulous, tonight we had gotten the steak salad and the braised beef and mushrooms. Everything was great.

Fist time eating in this newly establishment. Loved the location and atmosphere. It’s opened and spacious and majority of the basic needs are self served.
The service is amazing but the foods are not so good. Some of the items like fries and soups are very salty. Bread is very hard and over cooked. Chicken is very dried and the dressing is very thigh.
However, I will go back and give it another tried.

Patty gets 5 stars for her excellent service. I ordered a side of French fries and it was a very small plate with just a few French fries. She immediately brought out another plate to make up for that and was so friendly. The lady that helped us at the cash register was also very friendly even though we asked her many questions because it was the first time here for many in our group. This all lent to a very pleasant evening for my family. Food quality and cooking was also good. The portions should be larger for what you pay .

My daughter and I needed lunch after an errand and decided to try Urban Plates. We were immediately greeted warmly and patiently as we narrowed down what we actually wanted from the array of delicious choices.
The atmosphere was inviting and joyful from the seating to the playful staff chatter. Felt like we were at an extended family gathering. There were booths, long tables, and outdoor seating. Temperature was comfortable.
The food was reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. We look forward to returning to try a variety of items.

Just had a super chill late dinner at Urban Plates! The atmosphere was seriously on point, making a late meal feel totally relaxed. It was the perfect vibe for unwinding after a long day. The food was delicious too, which is always a huge win! I’m already thinking about when I can go back for another meal. It’s definitely a go-to spot for a good time. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a cozy place to eat. It felt like a little escape from the everyday hustle. So glad we decided to go!

First time here and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The food tastes clean and fresh, the ambience is beautiful. I had my dinner outside and there is a nice fire pit table that set the mood for a quiet dinner. Service was stellar with Patty and Daniel. They were pleasant and friendly. Definitely will come back!

I feel that this company pays for fake reviews. I had the blackened salmon. it was a small piece of salmon and had way too much salt and seasoning on it. my wife had something that everyone raved about in the reviews but she said it tasted Ike dinty Moore canned food. we paid over $40 for both dishes pictured. the main course was horrible and the potatoes were solid and undercooked and the mushrooms were nothing special.
I am betting google buries this review as they seem to allow fake reviewing. I noticed reviews don’t say when they were given or when the person went to said restaurant. if two reviews are in different states and posted back to back it could give that away and I feel that’s why they no longer date them.
either way I won’t ever go back to urban plates. I went based off of their menu but seeing what I saw the food on their menu was made by another company
I will try other places and won’t return.

Cafeteria style dining. No pre-orders allowed, no reservations allowed, we had a large group and the place was busy. Very packed with customers since it was during lunch hour. We found a table, waitress was nice and friendly. Food came out quickly. Unfortunately my steak was bland. But overall everything else was good.
