Sat at the bar. Jess is great! NJ Native (sorry-lol) finding good pizza is hard. Fellini’s is good but consistent thin crust is not an option there. Urban Pie is amazing!! Great Pizza

So we were very excited to eat at a restaurant revamped by Bar Rescue. Hubby loves the show and always wants to see if the improvements work. First off, the pizza was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the kitchen sink and all of the toppings were great and the sauce was awesome! They even have different style crusts that you pick. The meatball sub was also very good as well as the fries. Manny, our server, was attentive and engaging. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and were greeted right away. The only complaint would be that the other staff members were a bit loud and could have been more professional. We loved that the owner stopped by our table and even offered suggestions. We will definitely be back!!

The crust was really lacking — unfortunately that’s a dealbreaker for pizza. The sauce and toppings were the only part I actually enjoyed.
I wanted to try the vodka burrata Detroit-style pizza, but I just can’t justify $34 for a pizza.
We ordered via Uber Eats, so I can’t speak to atmosphere or service. Overall, I don’t think I’d order from here again.

Kira was a gem!!!! She recommended this amazing pizza and she was so helpful and kind! Loved this and also the burrata salad! Thank you for such a great experience! I gave 5 stars but I would give 10! Definitely a great Atlanta staple!

.. total revamp… so apparently Urban Pie is being featured on Bar Rescue and their Grand Opening is tonight!!!
Super happy for them, looks amazing and I can’t wait to try their new menu!
Super friendly local restaurant and bar! Went on a recommendation for amazingly unique thin crust pizza. Loved the pizza with olive oil… served hot and with fresh ingredients. Wow! Bar staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! We ordered our Chicken Alfredo pizza for pickup, but once we got there and found plenty of seating decided to stay in to eat and have drinks.
Chicken Alfredo Pizza had creamy alfredo sauce with grilled chicken, spinach, roasted red peppers, parmesan, and basi. We added mushrooms. BOOM! 10 OUTTA 10!
Our server was Kira and she shared the vision of the bar and how grounded they are in the local Kirkwood community. Parking seemed a little challenging, so we parked across the street at the library (after hours). Plenty of seating with booths and open tables. Nice size outdoor seating too.
Final words… pizza was awesome… Bartender Kira’s Margherita was quite tasty too! Worth the trip and we will be back!

This is such a bummer for me to write. My husband and I have gone to urban pie since we moved here almost 3 years ago. We loved dollar wing night and were always spending a lot of money there during dollar wing nights. We supported them through bar rescue and all of the changes and usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always amazing.
Tonight we had a pizza to go, the vodka burrata that we loved the first time we got it for $18. Now with it being almost $30, we finally decided to get it again.
What a tragedy. We couldn’t even figure out how to eat this, the dough was clearly too hot and they put the vodka sauce on it – maybe after? And it was just a mess. It was soggy, cold, and honestly something I would never order again. I really want this place to do well, but after waiting 45 mins and paying $30 for this I just cannot recommend it to anyone

The staff was very nice but was definitely short staffed overwhelmed. We ordered food online and waited for about an hour and half with no updates. When we finally got an update, a server brought us food we didn’t order and couldn’t really eat as an “apology” and as she handed us all the food, one of the orders had a side of ketchup which she spilled all over me. I doubt we’ll be able to get a refund. She didn’t bother to apologize or even look where she was handing the food and in the process spilled ketchup on my light colored clothes. Also this was all in front of my date and I was very embarrassed in front of her so thanks for that queen

So we just moved into the area and were so excited to try this place out. Very cool atmosphere inside, although we did a takeout only, so I can’t comment on the service, etc. BUT…I’m not sure what happened and maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. The pizza was not edible. Easily one of the single worst pizzas I’ve ever eaten in my almost 60+ years. We ordered a regular crust meatball and bacon. It reminded me of Dominos pizza in the 70’s when I was in college. Cardboard crust, horrible flavor to the sauce, bacon was not as pictured on their website. The good news is that the dog loved it! What did we do wrong?

Came here to watch the WNBA finals, and we had a great time. Excellent service, perfect spicy margs, and great food. We had the vodka burrata pizza, the caeser salad, and the lemon pepper wings, and enjoyed it all. We even ordered a second round of wings after halftime. Excited to come back!
