Urban pho seems connecting with mochinut store was a bit confused at the beginning when I looked for the front door.
Place looks pretty cute.
Pho soup was good enough.
The Banh Mi was a bit dry, the meat had a good flavor.
Didn’t really like mango boba, probably I should got taro instead.

Food was alright. I came here when it was 50% off, so its hard to complain about the prices, though I’m glad I got to try it at half price instead of full. Service was so-so. The Chinese tables were seemingly getting priority over every other table, which was unfortunate. Though I do understand its probably easier and quicker to serve tables that speak your own primary language. I think it took 3-4 tries to get checked out due to them ringing me up wrong repeatedly. I assume by this point they’ve gotten the hang of their PoS system and stuff like that is likely no longer an issue.

I’d say the Pho here seemed like a good soup, but wasn’t like any Pho that I’d had else where in the local CNY area, the US as a whole, or when traveling to South East Asia. It seemed like they added something to it that made it a lot less simple than the Pho I am used to. Not bad, but not what I would personally choose. I’m not sure if the flavor difference is a regional difference or the owners’ Chinese interpretation of Pho.

The Banh Mi was also not very good. There are better Banh Mi options not far away at the Vietnamese Noodle House, Ky Duyen Cafe, or Taste of Asia.

Absolutely amazing food! Not only is the Pho delicious but their other food as well, the fried rice is to die for and their vegetable spring rolls are always a must! Not only is the food great for these colder months coming ahead but the donuts they also serve are great, if you’re in the area and craving some food that’ll bring a warmth to your soul this is the place.

The atmosphere on the dinner side was kind of plain, but nice. The food is phenomenal. I highly recommend the beef or chicken pho. It’s pretty savory, just like I like it, if you want it, sweet, add the hoisin sauce. Great if you were gluten-free. I can even have the crispy squid and the Sriracha wings! Everything is just absolutely delicious! I go back every week. This is a photo of the dry pho. Slightly too salty for me, I like the soup better 🙂 Still amazing! Really recommend this place.

I always take-out, however, they have a cozy and comfortable seating area with at least 25 chairs. The pho is always tasty with fresh herbs and vegetables. Don’t sleep on the fried rice, it maybe the best you never had. Good service and good food at fair price. What more do you want? Five stars all the way.

Update: 2nd visit, and Food was great! Very happy to have gone again and tried some different items. They were very accommodating on our orders and that was greatly appreciated. Flavors were much better and everything was cooked to perfection. I can confidently say we will back again and won’t hesitate to bring our friends.

Urban Pho was fine and unfortunately that won’t get anyone reading this very excited. But that was our truth on this visit. Nothing was bad or went wrong, it was mostly an underwhelming food experience.

The restaurant itself is attached to a Mochi donuts place, which I think is the more intended dessert route. So together but separate.

The staff greeted us quickly, was kind and service was lightning fast, almost scarily so. The dining room is small but simple and clean.

The few things we ordered like the spring rolls, pho and vermicelli were all lacking flavor. Again not bad but lackluster in terms of any flavorful punch. The crab rangoon was the one thing that I can say was very good. Everything seems very competitively priced.

I know we will likely try again and try some different dishes as sometimes things don’t always add up. I encourage trying it for yourself and go beyond taking my anecdotal experience. As always Enjoy!!

We had the best time celebrating a birthday at Urban Pho this past weekend! The staff were absolutely wonderful – so welcoming and excited to be part of the celebration. Every single dish was a hit, but the fried rice was such a favorite that we ended up ordering extra sides! To top it all off, we had their mochi donuts for dessert, and they were incredibly fresh and perfectly chewy. Huge thank you to the team for making our day so special! We’ll definitely be back often!

Combo beef broth pho is better than I can make at home! Love that it is served w side of sprouts, basil etc, traditional style. Reminds me of the better pho restaurants n Vietnam, lol. Tried much of menu in first week of opening. Also loved the crunchy wings, pork chop rice, imperial roll, summer roll. Happy that Urban Pho is open near me.
Prefer Urban Pho overall experience over other pho places. Service is welcoming, warm n responsive, greeted w smile at door. Place has a young modern vibe, cute, clean, off rt 31. Large booths offer a more private dining experience than open room concept. Great for dates or families. I will be back
Returned for house special pho beef broth, just as delicious as last time. Hubby ordered honey lemongrass vermicelli with grilled pork, would order again, very flavorful. Nice, friendly people work here, n is a very relaxing n comfortable restaurant. A new favorite spot!

Urban Pho is an amazing spot for Vietnamese food. The Sriracha wings are amazing—perfectly crispy, with great flavor. The pho also has great flavor and is so delicious and fresh.
