I love how many drink and food options they have. I get a different food item everytime, and it’s always so good.
As someone who doesn’t drink tea or coffee, I’m usually pretty limited at coffee shops…
But Urban Grounds has multiple drinks I can have so I get to try new ones all the time (and love them all!).

I cannot believe that I have not left this place a review until now. I love this place. I am always looking for a coffee shop that has a bright, airy feel instead of dark and moody… check ✅ And truly DELICIOUS coffee … check ✅ But in my opinion, those things are just bonuses to the heart of this place (and why I keep coming back): the PEOPLE. I want to give a special shout out to Zoe and Laura, but truthfully I have had nothing but lovely interactions with each and every person who works there. I have been there a couple of times when it was crazy busy (as it should be) and each time the workers have kept their composure and carried themselves with grace.
There are a lot of places that check many boxes, but in my opinion this place goes above and beyond and excels in every single category. The people make it feel welcoming over transactional!
Speaking of transactional, I also want to say they price everything so reasonably. There are a lot of places that charge high prices (which of course is their right), but Urban Grounds is so kind to be so fair.
Also… how cool is it that you get to make your own plants?! What a unique concept!
One more thing! They have many great food options including healthy options! Such a rare thing to find imo.

Living on the road can have its challenges, but one of the benefits is the opportunity to experience different coffee locations all around the United States.
Today found us in Ozark, Missouri, and this place called Urban Grounds caught our eye.
Upon walking in the baristas were very quick to greet and welcome us. There’s a modern vibe at this location, and it is bright and light and very airy. Lots of plants and planters are part of the vibe. A lot of seating is available.
They even have a private glassed in meeting area for your business meetings or small gatherings.
The espresso has a very nice balanced flavor, and based upon our initial experience, this is a location that I would definitely come back to. I recommend it.

I’m always down for getting to try everything instead of a single item, so I love that they offer not only coffee flights but also flights for their selection of various avacado toasts!

Beautiful atmosphere & very tasty alternatives to coffee & coffee too. The Avocado Toast was great and so was the Mud/WTR. Very nice staff too! I loved my first visit & being surrounded by plants was super nice
Update! Try their spring drinks and new toast!

Absolutely my favorite coffee shop in the Ozark area. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a book, studying, or a casual catch-up with a friend. The staff are all lovely, the food never misses (especially their seasonal menu), and the shop itself is the perfect cozy-floral esthetic for a modern plant lab & coffee shop.

This coffee shop was beautiful! The food was very delicious! The coffee was good and did not take long to make. Baristas were super friendly and answered any questions I had. Definitely recommend this place for school and work. The glass conference type room is a nice touch!

I absolutely love Urban Grounds. They have the best variety of drinks on their menu, even those of us who have to do limited/no caffeine. Their food is so good! The turkey panini is my go to and their avocado toast is a breakfast fave. My kiddos love the graze boxes so much and they are cheap with great options! My current favorite drink is the Chai latte which is not as sweet as some places (which I appreciate). If you are looking for something fun to try you should try the beetroot latte (non caffeinated and add a little vanilla fig syrup). I will say when I first started going the wait seemed a little long but I’ve been a lot now and I just know that’s it an great place and sometimes awesome stuff takes just a few minutes extra. The staff is always friendly!

The food and coffee are some of the best in the Springfield area. The workers are nice and the açaí bowl is to die for. The best mix around. My husband loves all the coffees, I don’t drink coffee as much, but live on the açaí bowls and the avocado toasties!
